Re: You blacked out pillar folks should...

I'm not following. Dividing line? Do you mean the bottom of the "A" pillar? Would you have to curve it you think?

Re: You blacked out pillar folks should...

I see the top of the door window frame as a bigger problem to get right.

Someone with left over vinyl should do some experimenting.

Re: You blacked out pillar folks should...

it looks cool, but the lack of an existing border would make it have a wierd edge.

Re: You blacked out pillar folks should...

Just saw this post with a picture of my ride in it (joined in the summer, but didn't start coming on here every day till a few months ago). I agree with everyone, it's really hard to make a clean line, it has to pull up a little in the back.

I'm thinking of pulling the line straight around the back, but I would need to pull the wiper arm off to do it, and would actually prefer pulling the whole back hatch and then glass off and painting it. Either way though, I'm still glad I did it. No one has a Jeep like this any where near me (if even in the country)

Detailed pics of yours mate?

I'm interested....... but to be completely honest, it seems a little too "try hard Rangie" to me.

Re: You blacked out pillar folks should...

I don't have any close up pics right now, I'll try to get some over the weekend. It does look a little Rangerish, but when you see it next to a ranger I think it looks nicer because it's not huge and boxy, IMO.
