Let's try this first post again. The first attempt was eaten by a page refresh.
I just went through the same roller coaster of emotions on my Overland. I discovered it, freaked, questioned my fiancé, got the a WTF look, stormed off.
After contemplating selling it, bringing in my wheel guy to refinish, or maybe selling it after owning for one week, I took a breather and had a beer.
We're moving to Alaska, and we're sharing one car so this will be the first of many scratches. I have stacks of detailing equipment from my more anal car days (2 SRTs). I took some ultra fine steel wool and cutting polish to the area, and now it's barely noticeable.
Also, after rotating the tires I've pretty much forgotten. You know, out of sight, out of mind. It did sting finding scratches under mud and red paint from the curb, but like another said, the first one cuts the deepest.
