Re: 14' Lease Rates (April)

So residual was 54%. Exactly what I've found myself.

Edit: math mistake. It was slightly less than 54%. More like 53.5. That's one place they got you.

Re: 14' Lease Rates (April)

Local dealer is advertising 2014 Grand Cherokee's with MSRP of $33k (Laredo 23E Package)for 36 month lease at $0 down / $239 per month. 10k Miles per year.

Is this even possible? I have confirmed with them via chat on their website that their are no restrictions beyond excellent credit (i.e current Jeep Lease, military, etc....) Anyone see deals like this in their area?

Re: 14' Lease Rates (April)

I don't buy it. You don't know if it's a good deal until you know the residual and money factor.

How many times do we need to repeat this? Stop shopping on monthly payments. Seriously, just stop. Educate yourself on leases before you jump in.

Hence why we are interested, or why I am at least. I'd be curious to know what the other pieces of that lease look like.

Re: 14' Lease Rates (April)

I got 'em all. I was able to get the lease rates for the month of April from my dealer.

These are 15k mile rates:

Laredo: Interest rate - .9, Residual - 55%
Limited: Interest rate - .65%, Residual - 54%
Overland: Interest rate - .23%, Residual - 50%

Add 2% to the residual for 12k lease, 3% for 10k lease.

I also have the 2013 rates available if you want them.

These look like Ally rates.... can you clarify? Keep in mind you loose out on the additional rebates Jeep is offering to use another lease provider (IDL).

Yes, these are Ally rates. I don't *think* the IDL Bonus cash applies to 2014s but I could be wrong.

edit: I see no incentives at all that apply to 2014s. All the available incentives are restricted to 2013 models.

They are ally rates. But that other cash isn't worth it compared to the rate. And ally doesn't charge the buyout fee anymore either. I got a great lease deal last night, through ally with those numbers and a good sale price.

I agree. I know that leasing gets a bad rap, but leasing an overland at that interest rate makes buying almost foolish. It's nearly free money for 3 years. And with no purchase option fee, even if you're planning on buying you might do well to lease it first for 3 years.
