Anyone found guards that will fit. I don't see why the Summit can't accept mud guards. Anyone??

I have yet to find anything that will fit the summit - like you, my rear well paint will be toast after the Boston DPW dumps their winter salt.

To me, this seems like the worst of both worlds.

1) cost (with mods) is roughly the cost of an SRT
2) lower end engine than the SRT
3) can't off-road because of the springs and wheels

Not really. I paid 48k for a fully loaded summit non 4wd not 68k plus tax for a loaded srt. Then to add wheels, lower, install, etc to the srt ur more denerio on top of the 68k+ so 20k less doing what I did. plus I sure as hell didn't due this to obviously take it off-road and I highly doubt 98% of srt owners on here would want to take their srts off road...... Lol

Re: '14 Summit modification options?

I know the Summit is the luxo edition but I HAD to have the HK stereo, its killer and who says luxo can't be a little peppy/aggressive?

I live 10 miles from Corsa Performance HQ and will be meeting with the install engineers tomorrow (Fri) at 9am to confirm fit/slight mods to install their Cat back #14457 system. Only hitch is the rectangular exhaust cutouts unique to the '14 Summit. They are thinking they can mod their "GTX" style rectangular exhaust tips. We shall see. They install for FREE if you bring in your rig. So, for $1400-1500 I will go from zero warranty on the factory system to a lifetime warranty on the Corsa stainless system, have a pretty kickin' sounding system with little "drone" AND they will unscrew (not cut) by factory system off (I have 300 miles on it) so I can sell it to some rock crawlers who crunch theirs. MSRP on the OEM exhaust is $3600 so I should have no problem covering my costs.

BONUS, Corsa purchased Volant and has brought engineering and manufacturing to Berea so they will be hooking me up with their CAI which is in my opinion the best Cool Air Intake technically speaking.

I am not delusional about any performance gains, just cool sound and a little more spring in it's step.

I'll report back the results. Hopefully I'll have an awesome "sounding" video to upload as well.
