'14 Summit wheel trim?

I have a '14 Summit and I'm wondering if anyone else has been seeing the wheel trim "lifting" off of the body? It's a minor thing, but the front two corners are coming off slightly. Am I being picky or is this normal?

Just noticed the same thing on mine yesterday (December build). Makes it appear that the front bumper is misaligned with the front fenders and wheel trim. I intend to bring it to the dealer to be fixed under warranty.

Re: '14 Summit wheel trim?

This was the only problem with mine (august build delivered in October) - driver's side wheel trim - dealer replaced it no problem - might be however they are fastening it at the factory...

Re: '14 Summit wheel trim?

My March 2013 built Summit mouldings have been holding up well. The SRT8's use the same mouldings and I believe that many of the 2012-2013 GC SRT8's had/have the same problem. I think it had something to do with the mouldings not being applied properly at the factory.

I have it as well on my 14 Summit (March Build) - going to wait until winter is over to get both sides fixed. It is a common problem on the Summit's - The tape fails. One thing to try is heat it up with a blow dryer, hold in with some blue painters tape overnight. May or may not work but worth a try.

Re: '14 Summit wheel trim?

Yep, noticed that too. Not a big enough deal right now to have the dealer address it, but over time I'm sure it will separate more and more.

Same thing here when I did my walkaround to pick up my Summit. The dealer fixed the trim immediately.

The Summit they had at the DC car show had the same issue...

Not being picky, take it back for sure.
