^^^ No idea what that A is lol, but here is a real picture of the sport button on a 2016. These vehicles are on dealers lots.

The "A" button is the 3.6L stop/start disable. Your pic is of a 2016 V8 or diesel, so it's not there.

Ahh ok cool thanks. So they sure made that easy to enable/disable. Even easier than having to go into the uconnect settings. People will be happy about that here, especially with so many people complaining about start/stop feature and no one here has even driven one yet haha.

Yeah, this was a big concern to me as well when I go to a 16 in a few months. For me it would be a deal breaker without it.

Unless you drive like a jack rabbit, you won't notice Stop-Start. Play the radio, you won't even hear the engine. The new starter is very quiet and quick.

That is all.

Yes, I've read the operating conditions in the owners manual so I do understand how it's supposed to work. We have a lot of out of sequence traffic lights on my route into work. That, and I don't like the idea of multiple start/stops when you're stuck crawling in bumper to bumper traffic for 4-5 miles.

Re: '16 Interior Design/ function Changes

Is it possible that the "sport" button is for the steering? I hope there's a button for that option. I rented a Mustang last week with a 3-mode button to change the steering style and thought it was great. If it's a menu item on the GC, that would be lame.

...and if it's already in the owner's manual, I'm sorry Bill de

It is a hard button in the center console below the HVAC control knob. "ECO OFF" button to the left and "SPORT ON" button to the right of center. Above the door storage compartment. See this photo that member JTS97Z28 posted on another thread.

The steering settings are on the U-Connect screen. The sport mode button is for engine, trans and steering system. So it almost sounds like what ever mode you have the steering set to would get overridden by the sport mode button.

SPORT MODE — IF EQUIPPED

Your vehicle is equipped with a Sport Mode feature. This mode is a configuration set up for typical enthusiast driving. The engine, transmission, and steering systems are all set to their SPORT settings. Sport Mode will provide improved throttle response and modified shifting for an enhanced driving experience, as well the greatest amount of steering feel. This mode may be activated and deactivated by pushing the Sport button on the instrument panel switch bank.

Steering Feel Options — If Equipped

The Steering Feel Options feature will allow you to adjust the steering effort and feel. Press the “Sport” button on the touchscreen to provide the greatest amount of steering feel, requiring the highest amount of steering effort. Press the “Normal” button on the touchscreen to provide greater steering feel, requiring greater steering effort. Press the “Comfort” button on the touchscreen to provide a balance of steering feel and steering effort.

I didn't know that, the 2016 has adjustable steering settings? That's cool.
