Going by your screen name your from AZ and you did the group buy in Colorado.

How did the whole Tax, Title, and license fee work out? I mean like you bought it out of state and bringing it back to your home state. If you don't mind me asking.
If you want you can pm me if you don't want to give numbers here or anything like that. I'm also thinking on joining this buy. Also how did you get the all the numbers to verify? Over email or phone call or do we have to contact somebody in this thread to be a middle man?

Thanks in advance.

Read post 1 of this thread and the attachment letter from Jack Reak.

Retail/ invoice pricing located here in post #1 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

It works just fine! This is how my purchase went.

1. Order with Jack @ Faricy- $ 1750 under invoice- no fees of any kind! Contact Jack by phone to get started. Follow-ups are done mostly by email. When you get close to delivery some phone calls may be neccesary.
2. Pay a $500 deposite (Visa)
3. Jack sends you a Puchase Order and receipt for your deposite.
4. Veh comes in & you bring proof of insurance & pay balance. No taxes or fees of any kind. Pick up your veh..
5. Faricy gives you copies of Purchase Order, Bill Of Sale, Certificate of Origin, Temporary CO. registration (so it's legal to drive home), AZ paperwork to take to AZ MVD.
6. When you get home register and title your veh @ AZ MVD paying state sales tax of 6.6% (You do not pay any local sales taxes & that fact alone saved me another $1200- local sales tax in Prescott area = 2.75%).
6. You can then take the newly issued title and obtain a new car loan which is what I did at AZ State CU. I obtained pre approval for the loan.

**If you need a new veh loan to have the funds to complete the purchase you need to talk with your financial institution and Jack. It can be done but it's more hassel to do it that way.

If you need more details PM me. Good luck!!!

Finally picked up the Jeep yesterday, love the Jeep and felt like I got a great deal. Thanks again Jamesla30 for getting this together.
  • I think the shipping issue was on the trucking company, the car was flawless, except....
  • The flashlight didn't seem to want to charge, getting new one

Dealership was great to work with, would recommend them to a friend.

I love the Deep Cherry Summit, that is exactly what I am leaning toward. Did you go V8 or V6? I contacted Faircy on Friday and got an email back almost immediately, I think I am going to have to take a drive down later in the week and place an order.

What a great looking ride!

I calculated about 13 days from production start to delivery in Colorado Springs if not stuck in inspection line.

the V6; seems more than adequate; but if I'd had the $ I think the CRD or HEMI would be more fun.

Except for the trucking delay, my was the expected 2 weeks of preprod, 2 days of build/inspect and 2 weeks to ship, so 30-45 days is from date of order.

MOTs does not give a production start date and VOTs is inaccurate and first indication it's being built is that VOTs will show the veh in framing or paint. VOTs does not show dates other than the date of any email notifications. MOTs will show D1 status which means sequenced (staged) for production but a veh may be in that status 1 wk to months. The next status MOTs will show is I status (built pending inspection). From this point on VOTs is way behind in status reporting and MOTs is accurate.

I can only guess my "actual" production start date was around 3/28 or 3/29. It was in D1 status 3/19 and I status on 3/30. It only takes one-two days to build the veh. Delivery was on 4/12. From production start to delivery about 14-15 days. From order date to delivery 39 days.
