Hello everyone, after all us Colorado guys grouped up we finally found a dealer with a great offer to work with:

EDIT BY ADMIN (EDIT - Internet Manager)
Colorado Springs, CO

*ADMIN note=please PM OP for details as dealer is not a paid vendor

I have attached their written offer for any of our members. It is $1750 below invoice, with no other fees. They are a very highly rated dealer, and I have been very pleased with them so far.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to print this out and contact Jack to order a 2014. Colorado Springs is about an hour south of Denver and 2 hours south of the Denver Airport.

The offer techincally expires 2/28, but just ignore that -- shouldn't be a problem to extend past that.

Feel free to post or message me if you have any questions!

 :D  :D

Anybody checked out Dave Smith Motors yet? They beat every dealer in the Northwest by at least 1000 bucks.....

We have purchased several vehicles there. You guys might want to give them a call.....

Little too far for us Denver guys to drive -- and I think we are basically at rock bottom in terms of pricing -- If I thought i could get a better price i would still be talking to dealers. I am confident we got the lowest price possible.

I've actually been to Dave Smith motors in Idaho, the entire town seems like one big lot; impressive.

I am planning on buying from Jack at Faricy; went by a couple of weeks ago and got a good feeling about them. I am just waiting on the LUXII package to be available for the Limited.

James, that's some pretty impressive negotiating! I wish I could find a deal like that in SoCal (as would a lot of other people, it looks like). Great job!

SpecX, LionelHutz, kmanning2 - maybe we can try to set up a similar group rate. I think we'll have a lot more negotiating leverage in numbers. I couldn't find a similar thread for SoCal orders so I'll set one up.

IronRoot, you know we have a group buy in Wisconsin right? But if you want to do it there, that is fine too.

#55 ·
Thanks, SnoFire! Am considering the excellent deal you have negotiated, too; though I find I am getting out to Colorado more often than to Sheboygan. I might be getting a condo in Summit County (CO) in another year or two.

Just a heads-up to James and the others planning to (or who already may have) taken advantage of this deal with Faricy Boys - Jack sent me an email yesterday that they got in a few '14s, and I'm going to run down there tomorrow to take a look.

If things go as expected, I'll be putting my order in as well. Has it been 30 days on my Treadlightly membership yet? Tick-tock... :D:D:D

As a sidebar, I contacted pretty much every C/J/D dealer I could find in Colorado when I started this process, and so far 4 of them have sent me a note saying they're getting '14s in today or tomorrow... so for those of you waiting to see one in person, they have arrived!

Went down and saw Jack today.....put deposit down on a '14 limited with 8.4". Really impressed with the vehicle, service and deal that I'm getting from Jack at Faricy. I'm coming out of a 2012 Laredo X and the 2014 just makes the '12 feel "old"! The 8 speed is smoooooth. Ever hit the gas then come off the pedal quick to feel it down shift and "buck" you a bit? Not with the 8 speed! Can't even feel it.

Jamesla30 - THANK YOU for putting this together!

PS.....I put the deposit down but am still waiting for the Tread Lightly Code to arrive. If anyone has one they aren't using just yet (possibly waiting for LUX II to come out) then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PM me and let's work out a deal. I will give you mine IMMEDIATELY after receiving. Serious about this!! Would like to get my car sooner! Thanks again guys!

You're welcome -- you can't use someone else's number...get on the treadlightly website and sign up. You'll get all the info within a few days, you should be fine. Just let Jack know you'll have it shortly. Even if he has to wait a few days to place the order, no biggie.

Just got back from test driving a V8 Limited at Centennial Jeep... happy happy :) They had quite a few Limiteds -- all with the standard headlights. No overlands. I saw a guy there shopping for a 2014 and mentioned JeepGarage too him... he said best they were willing to do was 1% below, so hopefully he finds us and gets the good deal from Jack.

I also stopped by Colorado Jeep on Havana.... no 2014's yet. I asked a salesman and he said no 2014's until July.... lol.... I mention i see several in transit on the website and suddenly he changes his mind... "oh they must be on their way then". Stupid idiots... seriously if you want to do your job well -- know your frickin products....

Typical salesperson. They just want to move the iron they have on the lot.

I went to Chrysler Jeep on S Havana last week since THEY called ME saying they were the biggest movers of jeeps therefore they got the most shipped to them first. Said they had 20 on the lot so I went out there that night after work. Quickly changed to "we only have a few that aren't spoke for and those don't have fluids in them off the train so they can't be test driven". They were housing about 20 red limiteds behind the garage of the FIAT dealer across the street (same owners). Went back there but was only allowed to look inside. Weird they had all red. Must be part of Santa's fleet.

Freak it. I ordered from Jack a few days later and got my control number last night. My black limited is on train and due in on Tuesday!

Awesome! Glad you found us! I am ordering the diesel as well. The production start date got pushed back a month to 4/22, but I'm still guessing they should start arriving around June 1. For sure by the end of June at the latest.

Worth the wait for me -- I still want to see the billet color and indigo interior so i'll be waiting until they start showing up on lots to get a look at them in person. I still haven't seen an overland in person either. I would guess all of these will be on lots in a few weeks.

Let me know if you have any questions. You can PM or email me -- jlantis@comcast.net

Welcome to JG!

James,

Just put in my order with Jack, now that advanced tech is selectable again for Overlands. I can't thank you (and DJ) enough for steering me to him and Faricy Boys. It's a pleasure to deal with them.

You're welcome! Very happy with Jack -- even though I haven't met him yet, all of the members who have ordered already let me know he has been great.

I talked to Jack today - now that all the options I want are available, planning to pull the trigger on my order tomorrow! Can't wait... :D:D:D

Put my order in with Jack this morning also! WOOOHOOO!!!

Now comes the most painful part, waiting the 6-8 weeks...

AND THE RACE IS ON! withAZhiCntry outtoanearlylead but DucTape coming on strong. Astheyroundthefirstcorner AZhiCntry gets his VON, but DucTape's credit-card has been billed for the deposit. IT'S ANYBODY'S RACE AT THIS POINT!

#79 ·
I now have a VIN and a VON. Can't get into the Jeeps VOT though. The site seems to be overwhelmed with people checking orders. The site won't even load.
MOT shows "not yet scheduled".

Mine's working... probably just a server issue, I'd try again later.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULED, BABY!!! :D:D

Also - nice wheels, AZhiCntry. Like your style.

I win.

Picked up my 2014 Black Ltd from Jack tonight. Would take pics but it was dark at dealer plus I was trying to get in and out so Jack could go home. If you don't believe me, next time you all talk to Jack ask him about that Black Ltd he sold and that y'all heard the buyer kept him there an hour after he was supposed to get off work.

I'm coming out of a '12 Laredo X and the 2014 is freaking amazing. I got the 8.4". It is an absolute must have. Again JamesLA30, thanks for putting this on!

#85 ·
Congrats on the new wheels! I can't wait to start seeing these babies out "In the wild"... of course until mine comes in I will completely resent the fact that others have theirs, but that's just because I'm a vindictive prick.

Anyone who has been keeping track in the Ordering thread can tell you...Your going to be waiting. Maybe it is available to order in April, maybe in May.. No one really knows, it's all a guess at this point.

March 5th was just a hope and prayer that all CRD and LUX II people were stuck on. Only the Lux II got released. I guess with all the orders, the diesel is put on hold until orders come down some.

#96 · (Edited)
it was a sales launch for the Colorado area dealers; they each got to drive on home as a symbolic "first delivery" of the new '14. Found a press release from Chrysler on it.

With time on my hands I test drove a Red overland in Utah on Friday; really confirmed all my ordering choices with the LUXII on the Limited. Also, the salesman just finish a two hour certification exam the night before on the new 2014s and really new his stuff.

Interesting... I have been checking dealer inventory and it seems like most are now having a high quantity on order... so we should really start to see them filling up lots with 2014's over the next couple weeks.

Luckily for me, since I will be ordering the CRD, I will get to see everything in person and not have to order blind (besides the CRD of course). Recently I've been keen on the Granite....

Now if I can just figure out when Billet's will start showing up on lots....

Hi All, my first post from the UK! Moving to Denver in April and really looking forward to getting my first Jeep GC.
Been reading your thread with real interest. James, sounds like you have done a fantastic deal! No way could this happen in UK
I have decided on V6 (I think! Enough power at altitude?) and leather and nav are my only essentials. So Limited or Laredo with options I guess. Will this deal still be available in April/ May do you think?
We will be living in Cherry Creek so guess the Aurora dealer is nearest but sounds like they are not that switched on?
Is sales tax 5%? Thought it was more in CO?
Regards to you all and looking forward to many happy years of Jeep ownership and forum posts!
Chris
