Hello everyone, after all us Colorado guys grouped up we finally found a dealer with a great offer to work with:
EDIT BY ADMIN (EDIT - Internet Manager)
Colorado Springs, CO
*ADMIN note=please PM OP for details as dealer is not a paid vendor
I have attached their written offer for any of our members. It is $1750 below invoice, with no other fees. They are a very highly rated dealer, and I have been very pleased with them so far.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to print this out and contact Jack to order a 2014. Colorado Springs is about an hour south of Denver and 2 hours south of the Denver Airport.
The offer techincally expires 2/28, but just ignore that -- shouldn't be a problem to extend past that.
Feel free to post or message me if you have any questions!
How would this work if you live in a different state, such as California. Just need to pay Destination Fees or something? Also does he have the invoice prices available, because I am having a hellish time finding ANYTHING on the 2014 GC at any dealer in So Cal. at the moment.

I told you in your other thread that the Faricy Boys are a great dealership, that's who I purchased from and I'm 5 hours from there (but I grew up nearby). Good luck, they have been awesome for me to deal with for the past 15 months.
Jack is a pretty cool older guy and very friendly and easy to get along with - not pushy at all.
If you don't mind me asking, which dealers have you dealt with in SoCal? I've had 1 offer me 2% below invoice and all the others have ignored my request.
Don't mean to threadjack, but I apparently can't PM from an new account. Can you send me the info on the 2% below invoice dealer? I'm also in north county SD. Thanks.
I just did that with my vehicle I just purchase a month ago.. but was rear ended this morning. I paid FL taxes and title as my primary residence is in FL.. until August.
Can you still take mil discount of $500 and other loyalty discount of $1000 off of that price??
The added discounts are from Jeep and not from the dealer so I would think you could.
Ps. First time poster I started reading this forum when Jeep announced a Diesel engine! I do live in CSprings and yes the Farcie dealership was very nice to my wife and I when I test drove a GC two weeks ago. Dave Smith was my salesmen and he was great.

Yes this is referring to the tread lightly or access fund 1% below invoice... just make sure you have received your control number. Or you might be lucky and be on the employers list.
That's an amazing deal. Now I wonder if I can get my dealer to match it - driving from Colorado in a new ride would be nice but not exactly the wisest thing.
Would it be worth the delivery fee though? Yeah you save by going with this deal, but I would think the dealer local to you would make up the cost in transport fees to get the car to you.
I doubt that unless you could get the Colorado dealer to have it delivered from the factory directly to your dealer. Otherwise, I see them getting the car in and then doing a second transport to your local dealer.
You would have to the the $995 for the destination fee to the dealer and then that dealer would charge another amount (probably like $1000) to ship it to a local dealer. You would need to talk to the dealers to see what it would cost and if they would even do it.
This is correct. Any dealer you order from will charge the $995 fee. It is a non-negotiable item as the dealer gets charged the full $995. Milous or Pat said you can technically order from one dealer and have it delivered to another for the same $995 but the dealers have to agree and most dont. So as Sno said, they will charge you on top of the $995 to make arrangments. Best bet is to fly in and drive it back...
You guys are making a very convincing argument for a trip to the Rockies. I've never been but that seems a bit much for just a few hundred dollars. it's only 24 hours door to door.
If you can afford the time off and can do it, why not? I tried convincing my wife about going to Illinois when I was thinking of going with Pat, but she wasn't too thrilled with me putting over 2,000 miles on her new vehicle immediately after purchase.
My 6 year old and 3 year old, while great, well-behaved kids, would not do well on a 24 hour drive. My son gets car sick, so he has to just sit there staring out the window... Poor kid.
Hell, if any of you are serious about flying in to get the vehicle, I'll even pick you up from DIA, work schedule permitting (I'm a poor, overworked public defender). It'll be awhile before I get mine, so I'll live vicariously through you.
Hmmm .... Flight from Phoenix to Colorado Springs is $108 on United (I couldn't believe it was so low) and an 11 hour ride back here. Not bad, especially since the ride back would be through Santa Fe NM.
James, thanks so much again for setting all this up. I'm also talking with Jack and so far he seems super-nice and easygoing. I'm probably going to figure out an excuse to go visit the Springs in the next week or two just to check out Faricy and do introductions with Jack.
Of course, if they had a '14 on the lot at the same time, that'd be ideal... but I can only wait so long!

You're welcome -- let me know if you do go down and how things go. I am waiting until 2014's show up on the lots, and then I'm going to plan a whole day down there test driving, figuring out colors, and placing my order
