teye is on a distinguished road
18" all terrain tyres for Australia.

I need some new tyres for my 2012 loredo and I note that many of the tyres that may be very well suited to American conditions in particular snow and ice, may not be suited to outback conditions. From what I have read cooper at3 don't seem to like our heat either.
Ok so I don't want to feel every bump in the road, or sound like a jumbo taking off. But do need a tyre to handle rough roads at temps over 30c. Mostly it will be a road car but I don't need any drama in the event of camping trip
My likely destinations would include gravel etc, the pilbara, and possibly
even the great central and Uluru etc.
I can get the new Goodyear adventure at a good price ? Again I feel these are more American designed.

Re: 18" all terrain tyres for Australia.

We have used Bridgestone light truck tyres for years on our caravans and many of our owners use them on their tow vehicles. They started as the D693 and the current model is the D697.
We have also had good experiences with Goodyear Wrangler and BF Goodrich but our preference is the D697. Cannot recommend Coopers, lots of bad experiences.
