Re: 1st long trip

I just finished a long trip in my ZJ. I had hopes of getting my new Summit before this trip came up, but was not to be.

The '98 is a bit worn down, but it got the job done. We went 800 miles to N CA and back, moving family and hauling back stuff.

All trip long, my poor wife had to listen to me tell about the cool features of the WK2 that we didn't have yet .........

On that trip I was basically trying to keep the "ECO" light on as much as possible and it definitely seemed to help.

My regular commute (only 15 miles each way) is about half highway and the other half back roads, and I have only been averaging about 14.5mpg on my commute.
Same here. About 12 miles to work with half highway and half side streets. Getting 14.3. Although my 2004 4.7L Overland fared no better.
