Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Limited Road Noise

There is a TSB out there for the non-load levelling shocks.

Also, if you have some tools or whatnot in the cargo compartment in the back well they are gonna make noise.

Anyway I have not noticed any odd suspension sounds with my V6 Laredo with the load-levelling shocks.

Also, this is a Jeep by the way, it's not a Porche.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Limited Road Noise

When a person goes from a full frame vehicle to a Uni-body type vehicle, they will notice more noise when on a bumpy road.Frame absorbs road noise through the body bushings. If you notice when you put the hitch coupler in,it clangs around but it did the same thing with a vehicle with the frame, but the noise was stopped at the body bushings before it reached the body........JB.

Went up to Adirondack Mnts. this afternoon to attend a party and did a little mild off roading. At this time there is no "clunk in the trunk".

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Limited Road Noise

Cold temps stop the sound. Seems to me there is a problem. I fully expect Jeep to fix the issue. 43 large for a vehicle that sounds like it is shot at 1200 miles is unacceptable. When the temps warm up I will take this in.
