Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

the extra stitching ruins it, should have left just the black piping no extra stitching
also the chrome backing of the grill is ewww, black back there would be nicer, classier

I meant compared to the normal Overland Saddle interior. My understanding is that the seats are the same color.

Tough choices, the orange stitching ont he black dash looks cool in the overland but all the saddle on the dash is also cool. defenitly worth waiting till all late availability options become available when factory ordering... gives you a chance to possibly see the interiors in person also. I don't mind the 20's since I have 6 months of winter here would be switching to different rims and winter tires from october to march..what do you guys recommend for winter rims 17 or 18?.

Summit in brown looks awesome kinda like the ram brown i think. altho white gold wouldn't show any scratches if u got them.

As long as 17s clear the calipers they would be the way to go if you are running a dedicated snow tire. (much more options in a 17 vs an 18)

I would be fine running 20s in the summer if the roads I usually travel were in better shape. Unfortunately most places that get a decent amount of snow usually have horrible roads, so I would gladly trade a little handling prowess for a little more sidewall.

I too love the brown...not my first choice but its cool they are offering it...I bet it will end up being the rarest color along with the green pearl.

I think I am gonna pull the trigger after christmas...I went in like a month and a half ago to test drive one and bought a wrangler instead...but I'm just keeping that at the vacation house and I still want to get a Grand to replace my aging Yukon Denali.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

plus a 17 is cheaper if you are buying a high end snow tire like nokian hakkepelita R suv's or the 5 or 7 studded versions......mmm yeah when i test drove a trail rated limited with the 18's I went over a train track crossing and barely felt the bump, and as you stated the roads here (winnipeg) are cracked a lot and have potholes due to the harsh winters. I guess I will cross fingers for a trail rated option on the summit, we should know in december what options are available right?

the 20's have a pretty tall sidewall compared to the current gen 20's. Arent they like 265 50 or 265 55?

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

Is the color similar to either the king ranch or range rover interiors?

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

I would love to know if the Hemi is standard, because if it was, I'd go with the Summit. No news/answer to this question from local Jeep Rep or CHrysler Customer Service.
