Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

I wasn't able to find the pricing anywhere online either. I ordered mine yesterday. The price from the order sheet for the Summit package is $4085. So you can add that to the base MSRP of the Overland plus whatever options you want and get pretty close to the price. I ordered Rugged Brown, V8, 4X4. MSRP is $48255. They didn't give me an estimated delivery date yet, but the salesman said at least 8 weeks. I'm thinking probably more.

I have posted pricing for the Summit Edition on the WK2Jeeps.com web site:

http://www.wk2jeeps.com/wk2_overland_summit.htm

Just add the totals from #'s 1-9 and you will come up with the total MSRP. I will be updating the page with dealer Invoice pricing by tomorrow.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

Can we assume the 4x4 option in the Summit has quadra lift? I hate to assume anything with Jeep recently.

Yes, assuming none of the #5 - # 9 options are wanted.

@ joebinotto : I'd be interested to see how it goes for you with your dealer (re: 730N (RHF)) when you decide to order. I decided to just start the process and revise the order (Jan 17th?) prior to actual production. It's not a huge deal, but I have confidence that it will all work out.

I may know this weekend. I got a call from a dealer today indicating he can order it with the 730. I asked him several times and told him another dealer on Saturday was unable to specify the 730. He assures me he is able to do so now. He seemed to understand that the 730 wasn't going into production until late January and he is even saying delivery will be middle of February. It all sounds too good to be true, but I will see him this Saturday.

Whoa...now I'm really intrigued! lol
Great work, let me know how it goes. I'd appreciate your coaching if you order it (their feedback, etc.). Mine is ordered...but oddly, maybe it ISN'T!!! lol

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

Hello - new to this site.

I was at a dealer today in Florida and the salesperson printed out a sheet that shows ordering a Summit has a "restriction" on the 26R line....that the order can't be completed yet???

Here is what I want.....Summit 4x4 V8 in Mineral Gray with the latest tech which I understand to be 730N RHR. I don't want the engine block heater, the additional chrome (Summit comes with enough), ORAII (I want the 20" wheels which apparently are NOT "Trail Rated" according to the Jeep engineer in charge of that stuff), and Rear DVD (I want the large double sunroof so no Rear DVD). (I want the tow group option and that is standard with the 4WD Overlands including Summit.)

Questions:

(1) When will these be delivered if ordered soon (sales person speculated 10+ weeks)?

(2) Does 730N RHR also have Garmin like the 430N?

(3) I haven't signed up for tread lightly yet, but is it true you get hassle-free 1% below invoice AND will receive any incentives that pop up between now and delivery??? I'm a cash buyer (no leasing) and have continuously owned 6-7 Jeep Grand Cherokees since 1992 (and yet there is no loyalty discount...bummer).

Thanks for any information on this.

My alternative is to take delivery of a new currently "in transit" Overland 4x4 V8 black exterior with the dark/light frost beige interior and the Adaptive Cruise control et al option.

P.S. Trivia - Sales Option YG1 is "7.5 Additional Gallons of Gas" at FWP $21 and $0 MSRP.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

Also, the salesperson speculated (or said he had "heard") that the delay in Summits (and Overlands with saddle interior) was due to quality defects from the seat maker (and/or could have been the leather maker). He also went on to say that because of the large number of rejected seats, the sub-contractor seat maker (and/or leather maker) went bankrupt and so they were scrambling to get seats???
