Has anyone seen the brown color in person? Is it attractive?

The Summit isn't out yet....perhaps there is another Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep product that has that color?

I ordered the 4x4 V8 Summit too:

FFP: $45,133* (the affiliate price which is 1% below invoice)

*note this price includes the quadra-lift (some people were quoted a price without the quadra-lift since it wasn't available at the time of ordering but their price will be bumped up to reflect the quadra-lift) and this price includes the $271 CREDIT for the 430N versus the new 730N RHR which at the time I ordered wasn't available yet ... I expect my price to get bumped up by $271 for the new 730N RHR since it will become available by the time they build mine.

Dodge Rams are currently available in Rugged Brown. I went to my local Dodge dealership to see the color in person. I loved it and think the JGC will look great in it.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

Chris and LJS8510-Thanks so much for the info! I am afraid it does seem that the saddle interior is now exclusively on the Summit. I really like the Dark Frost interior better, but I keep my Jeep forever-I currently have a '96 Grand Cherokee Limited- that I am afraid the interior will get dirty over the many years of use.
I appreciate the Tread Lightly tip. I was a member years ago. I will have to renew my membership tonight!
What is a fair price on the Overland? Invoice? Invoice + $200-what is fair? I always feel uncomfortable when shopping for a vehicle and I do tons of homework! Since I am ordering and it is all gravy for the dealer, I feel I should get a better price. Am I wrong?

The Tread Lightly affiliate pricing is 1% below invoice. Easy and simple to do...that's what I did.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

hey guys is the grille on the summit different than the grille on the regular overland?

if so, does the summit grille come with the chrome group if i were to order a regular overland?

or is it something unique to the summit edition?

thanks

They will still try to nick you with junk fees so be on guard and question everything. The wording on the TL discount program says that the member will have to pay no more than 1% under invoice. It doesn't say that dealers may tack on their $100 admin fee or any other fee. Tell them you'll go elsewhere if you don't like how they're dealing with you. You can literally shop anywhere in the country with that TL code (depending on how far you're willing to go-- several of us bought out of state when we found our desired vehicle on someone else's lot). There should not be any negotiating to speak of, except with all the other things they will try to sell you. Those are up to you.

On that note, many members here are planning on extended warranty coverage since this is a new model. There are deals for that also and plenty of discussion on it here on the forum (simple search to find some good threads).
