No rebates for Overlands or probably any WK2 right now.

Sort of! I only asked because a salesman yesterday said he heard of rebates coming in next month & also when I searched for rebates on the web some come up on newcar.com but I see nothing on the official Jeep site. I just wanted to be sure there were no "secret" rebates out there before I place my order today.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

That site has grouped deals together that usually cannot be combined or have specific requirements. there used to be a site with the real scoop but it got bought by cars.com and they screwed it up.

Right now I think the only incentives running are $500 military cash and some loyalty or direct mail cash that has targeted marketing.

I also heard something was in the pipeline but only on the Laredo's and possibly Limited's and most likely restricted to 2WD as the dealers have a glut of those on the lots.

It's highly unlikely any Overland (including Summit) will get any incentives since they can't build them fast enough to fill orders as it is.

Current direct mail offer in my area is $750 on ANY Jeep model and that expires 2/2/11. This was in addition to the FFP Tread Lightly. Unlikely a Summit will be on the lot by 2/2/11, or an order placed now, be delivered by then. Dealers etc. are kept in the dark on upcoming offers until they are officially released. Not sure what the marketing/corporate plan for Chrysler/Fiat is. They had the targeted mailing in Nov for the $750 and had the best month for sales, (@80,000 units) in 4 years. Since sales generally slow down in the first quarter, they may indeed have offers that start the beginning of Feb. If someone has anyway to find that out before Feb 2nd, by all means speak up! I'd love to take delivery on my Overland on Feb 3rd if the new current offer was $1000-1500 instead of the $750!

Well, we can only hope. My Overland is in the queue to be built within the next week and should show up at the dealership by mid Feb. I'd even hold off taking delivery until March if I knew something was coming.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit Edition

Well, after wanting a new Jeep since last July, I finally placed my order today for a Summit! Let the wait begin.

4 Destination = $780

I think on the summit you dont need to pay that extra 275 for the saddle/black its part of the summit pkg

Yes, that is correct....some of the early Summit order sheets listed extra for saddle like on the Overland....but that gets corrected by Jeep later. Just a temporary glitch in the matrix is all.

Next week? I figured you wouldn't want to wait that long:

Isn't that the truth! Saw a Blackberry/Saddle Overland yesterday at nearest dealer on Long Island. Of course, it had a "SOLD" sticker on it. But saw plenty of unsold Laredos. Either trim is still nice though.
