IMO...for what its worth....he says "Luxury crossover SUV" IMO...he means the new WK crosses over into the luxury segment of the SUV competetion. Its def. not a crossover SUV...ie. lexus, murano etc. etc.
I look at it this way. Remember back in early 04 when there were spy shots and then in April of 04 the WK 1.0 was revealed? And everyone said I will never trade my WJ in for that ugly POS! Look at what a majority of former WJ owners are driving now.
Remember that all too well. Many were comparing the "new" 05 WK design to a Chev Equinox or some other emasculated SUV or crossover. I think no matter what the designers had come up with for a rear end design, someone would find reason to criticize.
You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.
Again, I agree with Scott! lol
I find the later WK's particularly repulsive, and I'm thankful mine has facory fogs to break it up.
I remember seeing pictures before it's release of the WK, and actually LOL'ing at how ugly it was. Availability of a hemi turned me though
To my eyes, WK 2.0 is MUCH classier all over.
we shoulda asked the engineer that was on here nopt tlong ago about the reason for the extra reflectors on the lift gate. I see all the new SUV's with them. Is it a govt. crash requirement or something now ya think?
the rear looks like a bmw m5, i hate it. everything else is nice but a jeep is suppose to be rugged looking not a sleek crossover look. hopefully they put the 6.4L in the 2012
