What bulb size is it for the fogs? H16 for an HID kit?

WK2 non SRT8 = H16
WK2 SRT8 = H11

Your original questions was in regard to fog lights bulbs. The H11s are for WK2 SRT8 fog lights. SRT8s use a different fog light bulb and fog light housing. Your low beam bulb depends on if you have factory Bi-Xenon lights or not.

My WK2 SRT8 Owners Manual states H11 for low beams if not Bi-Xenon. I would assume that would be the same for a non SRT8 WK2 as it's the same headlight housing.

No, but you can make H16s work by trimming them.

The correct bulb is a PSX24W, same as used on many camaros. This bulb has a lens built in, and replacement bulbs without the lens are for entertainment purposes. You can get LED replacement bulbs (no lens), but stay away from higher wattage bulbs unless you like melted plastic.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee XenonDepot complete bulb replacement

JJeep12,
So you've used the Neutron LED bulb (Putco 287431W – 7443 White) for the DRL replacement. Turns out I have the same blade-type base on my 2011 GC, so as far as I can tell the 360 degree LED bulb (Putco 233157W-360) cannot be used in mine either.

How do you find the Neutron bulbs? Since they have LEDs that only point forward, rather that bouncing off the reflector, is the light still dispersed enough?

Thanks.

ADDED info some hours later:
Steve at XenonDepot has confirmed that the actual base on the 360 LED bulb referenced above is a blade type, so it should fit my GC. (The photo of this bulb on the KB web site showing a round base is not accurate).

I'm still wondering how the Neutron bulb illumination looks in the DRL though.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee XenonDepot complete bulb replacement

Steve...Everything is working great. Thanks. I also used the 194's in the footwells and grab hanldes. I'm almost ready to tackle the golf cart. A few more days and I should have the alarm system installed and ready for the LED's.

Turbosparten....Are pics still not up? I posted a bunch a few days ago. I had the hardest time uploading pics for some reason. Tell me what you want to see and I'll try again to post them.

Mike...Fogs were H16/5202. Lows were H11

Cherodude...That is correct on the bulb I used for the DRL's. Is the light dispersed enough? This would be a per owner question I guess. I could see how they might not be as dispersed as a 360 reflected. But you can definetely tell there is a light on and it's not the high or low. I run them with my fogs during the day especially on my 1 hour plus drive in the back hills and mountains between San Diego and where I live. They also stay on at night. So I have DRL's, Lows and Fogs on at night. Pretty awesome. I made sure that the lows and fogs were pointed way down. I'll post those pics tonight.

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee XenonDepot complete bulb replacement

Have an overland with factory Hids .... and halogen DRLs ... I hate the halogen and would like LED or HID DRLs that match the oem HID color.

What is the best replacement?

Hi,

You would need to get a 3157 LED bulb. I would select the "white" color.
