How could they be expected to think of this for themself when they are so busy talking on the cell phone, texting while driving, and watching thier GPS? In my life, I don't have those distractions. I don't need DRL's so I pulled the relays. I don't need seats belt lights & chimes when all I'm doing is opening ranch gates, so I disabled them as best I could. When it comes time to turn onto the highway, I always use my seatbelt. Hard to imagine that someone could make these decisions for themself when we've become so used to having regulations make these decisions for us?
Red I love that post! I drive in NYC all day ( born and bred, dont hate cuz im a blue collar worker not a shifty banker type lol ) and they do that all day! text, facebook, all of that distracted stuff. And arrogant and agressive to the point of traffic laws apparently dont matter.
BTW opening ranch gates sounds great. At 45 I am seriously considering leaving my now meek paying telecom job and work on a ranch.
What is your work day like?
