Re: 2011 Overland - what color?

Silver is nice. Easy to care for and easy to fix if you happen to do anything to it.
Current Jeep is black with black interior and I'm in South Fl. It's really no worse than my red durango to care for and we're out every day in the heat with no complaints.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

I've found the opposite over the years. The metallics are quite difficult to touch up the stone chips and door dings. It's impossible to get the paint to match using a stick. However, with the solid colors being clear coated, those touch-ups show easily also. So, I want the color that seems to reflect the body lines the best, and I think that will be the new Mineral Gray, but we obviously need to wait to see it, and the White Gold.

Re: 2011 Overland - what color?

One of the dealerships here in Houston has a silver Limited on the lot. We stopped and stared for a while. Still can't make up our minds! Maybe this means we need to wait to order until all the colors are out. But I don't wanna wait !! ha ha
Does anyone think the white gold is too sissy for GC ?

Well, I always associate gold cars with '80s era Lincolns and Cadillacs, so it's a wait and see regarding what exactly the "white" part renders the color. I would imagine this could look quite good with the saddle interior if it comes out as just a gold tinted white.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" therefore choose the color that you like. Other people opinion is just ... well, just an opinion ...

Mopar provide the hardware, they might provide the service too,via satellite to the roof antenna, bingo 100 feet radius 360 degree within your jeep all over north America.

Chrysler version of onstar, title u connect guardian is still a possibility,it was also debut in the 2011 jeep at the NY auto show,a lot of excitement with this new jeep and Chrysler products, they have some good stuff coming down the pipe line.

I researched the topic and found the following costs including monthly fee: "The U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the router module is $449. Dealer installation is estimated at approximately $35-50. Autonet Mobile offers wireless Internet account service at $29 a month, available in 12-, 24- and 36-month service plans. There is a one-time $35 service activation fee. Customer support assistance for hardware and service is available." (http://www.mobiletechnews.com/info/2...27/102711.html)

My question is why use such an approach for mobile internet when you can "tether" your mobile phone and get internet access for your laptop. In this way, you do not have an additional monthly fee or other start up costs. Is there any other advantage for uconnect web? More details about blackberry tethering at the following link:

I agree. Why scroll a 9" screen when you have a larger, and better resolution laptop. It's also my approach for videos in the rear when traveling.
