2011 remote start? Need help!

Finally getting around to adding a remote start to my Laredo. The problem is, I can't find an OEM one anywhere. I haven't contacted the dealer yet. On the Mopar website, they have one, but it shows dealer cancelled for the 2011-13 gcs. Any after market suggestions?

You may already have it, try pressing the lock button 3 or 4 times consecutively. Do you have push button start?

Re: 2011 remote start? Need help!

Contact a Dealer.

The wk2's have Wicked complicated wiring system.

Do the OEM and you will get 2 new Keys also. with aftermarket you may have to carry two sets of keys

they have to install couple items also.

Also Side note you can remote roll down your windows with your 2011.

Press the unlock button then press it again and hold it the windows will roll down till you let go. takes a few trys to get the timing down.

2011 remote start? Need help!

Aftermarket flash logic is the most simplest install for 2011-2013 push button start. No you do not need to carry additional remotes. Once fitted(plug and play), press lock(x3) and it will start. Same to shutdown as well. Literally plug and play T-harness behind the push to start button, no splicing, or any other bonnet switches required. 5mins to install and No tools needed.

About $120. http://www.flashlogic.com/product/pr...product_id/131

2014 onwards is much more complicated to get going for aftermarket.

This is similar to the flash logic one but is made by DEI (Directed Electronics) who also makes Viper, Python, Clifford and some other brands.
For less than $100 you can't beat it.

Plug N Play Remote Starter for Select Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM DBALL2 CHTHD1 | eBay

The seller will program it for your car then you just plug it in.

I installed this is in my 13 when new and it works flawlessly. I like this setup as it allows flexibility. I added a 1mile range 2way remote and a Bluetooth module that works with an app on my phone.

I used to install alarms and always had great results with DEI products.
