Thanks for so many questions.

$35,435 before taxes. No rebates or incentives.

about $250 in bullshit charges

$38,868 - total including taxes.

You can get invoice at edmunds.com: http://www.edmunds.com/jeep/grandche...011/index.html

Note that 430N is mentioned twice in Edmunds configurator with different price - use the one with $395 MSRP

I was also sent configuration sheet with invoice prices by one of the dealers who sent me a quote online and by Westbury. Note that it will include 7.5 gallons of gas for $21 that Edmunds doesn't mention.

I went to showroom at Jericho Tpke.

Look up the invoice price at Edmunds. There are a million Jeep dealers on the Island. After you figure out what you want, just call one after another offering invoice. Someone will bite.

Re: 2011 WK2 Prices Paid

First post here, but I'm shopping 2011 JGCs and was just quoted yesterday $34,900 for a gray Laredo, V6, X-package w/Nav, OR-1 and tow package. Now it's just a matter of selling one of my cars or saving a bit longer and getting bent on trading. Either way, I think I'll be buying a 2011 JGC as my first Jeep.

You got a decent jeep with good price. How can you get that price?

I assume you're referring to me? I didn't buy it...yet! The price I was quoted was for inventory on the lot (there were several equipped that way) that have been sitting for 3mo. So, I assume the dealer was motivated and the fact that it was quoted given I would be paying cash (cashier check) and not doing a trade-in. Add in taxes, of course, and also tack on some fees for detailing and paperwork and I think it's in line with what others are paying. It seems that the volume dealers are using some factory incentives and then just quoting invoice to serious buyers.

Re: 2011 WK2 Prices Paid

I have an Overland on order, and used truecar.com to help negotiate my price of $500 under invoice. The dealer tried to add on a few bs charges, and after some back and forth, I allowed $150, which would make my actual cost $350 under invoice. I did almost all of the negotiating via email, which was much easier than in person.

The model you choose is exactly what I want. Your quatation is my target price, or close to that

Re: 2011 WK2 Prices Paid

I was quoted $36,214 for the Overland (Dk Gray with Saddle leather) with no other options from a dealer in Orange County, CA. Ready to pull the trigger but would appreciate input if it is possible I am missing anything. From what I can see, the Overland pretty much includes everything except the V8/hemi (not interested in either). Am I missing anything?

Thanks!
