Anyone know if Dark Charcoal is definitely eliminated for 2012? I don't see it on the color list but the dealer seemed to think it was available.

For what its worth, here is a 2012 model year colour guide. But accuracy of this printed, then scanned PDF, on non-calibrated display is obviously not great.

You really need to see a vehicle with the actual paint on it once they hit dealers lots.

I was going to order a Mineral Gray this month, because none of the other choices appealed to me. I really don't like the mineral gray in sunlight, though, when it takes on the 'champagne' tinge. Looks terrific (and completely different) when overcast.

But I now think I'm going to hold out and see what True Blue looks like. I'm hoping it's just a nice deep dark blue, similar to the simple dark blue they used on the WK's in recent years, but with the 'pearl' mica flakes in it. I'd like to see the Maximum Steel, too, but I don't think I want to hold out THAT long.

Agreed that Blackberry was too dark. When no sun or even slightly dirty it just looks black. I've decided that it's probably black paint covered by a layer of blue-tinted clear coat with the mica flakes in it. When sunlight hits the mica flakes, it lights up the clear coat and you see the blue tint. No sunlight, and all see all you see is the black base coat, for the most part. Even if I'm wrong on that being how it's implemented, that's how it acts, imo.

I think the Black Forest Green is going to be the exact same way as Blackberry - just green instead of blue, of course.
