Milous, thanks. This is the WK2 I will get later this year. And I will find a dealer who can help me swap out some of the chrome (mirrors, door handles) for body color.
Any news on whether the chrome bar across the hatch can be optioned as body color? I don't mind the chrome window/bumper trim, but the big fat chrome bar across the back makes it look like a GM product.
I was kinda hoping that the 2011 would be the only year just for the rarity of such a nicely done GC. But having it come back for 2012 shows that it was well received (at least it wasn't butt ugly like some of the past Ovris editions were LOL).
Will be interested to see if they come out with Stone White and Natural Green (or similar colors) since I think those two colors would look very nice with the full saddle.
I wonder if they will change the headliner (with visor, posts, etc.) color for the 2012 Summit instead of using the neutral grayish beige like in all the other GCs?
There's not a lot other than the headliner to change....except as mentioned above a coin holder and 5.7L HEMI badging!

I think it's overpriced for the consumer. You're paying an extra $2500 for polished wheels, chrome bezels, and more of a chrome grill, and your limited to one interior choice. Regular overland is the way to go in my opinion in comparison, unless you really, really, really like the interior color.
The summit package also includes the adaptive cruise and blind spot/cross path detection package that lists for $1300. More color choices on the summit would be nice but overall I wouldn't have considered anything else, mainly because I wanted the saddle interior.
I didn't think I needed the adaptive cruise control but I love it! I am glad it came included on the summit. I would not have bought it but I wouldn't go back now.
I too love the adaptive cruise control. I have been doing long trips the last few weeks and it is just AWESOME. Now if I could just get it to drive itself I could sleep on the trips.
IMHO the ACC is the best part of this new vehicle.
I am looking to purchase a 2012 Overland Summit. I will be driving in snow and ice on mountain roads. Does anyone know if the Quadra trac II system would be as good as the Quadradrive II system for this type of driving? From reading the Jeep site, the Quaradrive II system seems superior. Any experience with this system?
On the coin holder there is a little area inside the console (large compartment) at the back of it you can put quite a few coins. I have over $3 there in various coins.
