Can anyone on the forums tell me what the GC has as far as window tint?
I'm curious as the law in the state I reside in currently says the front side windows can allow 35% of light in, the rears are 20%. The front sides can be no more than 35 percent reflective.
I just don't know what the tint is on my Grand Cherokee Overland to begin with! Getting some work done tomorrow so if anyone happens to know, please chime in & thanks.
by law in KS/MO you can only tint the front windows 35%. am i right in thinking it will look weird to have this much disparity between the front and back windows? i know the back windows are tinted 18%.
i would really like to get this done because i think it looks awesome, especially on a BB jeep, but not if it's going to look weird.

I have 35% on my fronts. They look very nice. No tint is legal here and I didn't want to be hassled by the cops. I figured I could get away with the 35%. At night they look very dark.
would it be weird to have it at 50% fronts instead? even 35% is too dark and illegal here in Ohio, but I know people rarely get a ticket for it unless it's with other things being pulled over for.
go with the 35%. My cousin a cop said I should be ok with it. Nobody has hassled me. You can still see in during the day and at night it looks ok. Not sure about 50%. I don't even think they have it. I can send you pics of mine with 35.
Don't forget the rears are just tinted glass and don't have any uv protection. So when you are getting the front done get UV protection on rears, rear quarter and tailgate.
