The internet pricing will show 2012 Overland Hemi's for $39,499 but if you don't qualify for military add back $500 and if you don't qualify for non-Chrysler lease rebate add another $1000 = $40,999 on an MSRP of $46,015.

He told me $500 below invoice + another $1,000 Maryland offer that is good for anyone, so $1,500 below invoice on 2012 Overland Hemi's. He said the have to tax even the amounts that were discounted off though, but based on my or your states sales tax percentage.

They have:
Brilliant Black , Black inteior (what I want).
Mineral Gray , Dark Frost / Light Frost interior.
Stone White , Dark Frost / Light Frost interior.

Here's the link: http://www.heritagechryslerjeepmaryl...&SBprice=clear

If you like one of these and you're near Baltimore, you might want to act fast now that I've posted about this deal here. They have Limiteds too. And 2011 Laredos and Limiteds, but I only checked the price on 2012 Overland Hemis.
They don't have what I want on the lot, and that $1k MD incentive probably ends in September. Right now nobody seems to have what we want, a cherry Overland 6 w/saddle and ADG, but if Heritage comes up with one in time the kilobuck saved is worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from here. I'll keep checking in.

A great tip and they're added onto our short list of interesting dealers. Presumably you found them by doing a wide-range Zag search? Surprised you didn't find something in or around Nebraska, but the Maryland incentive would seem to make the difference. I have an in-law in Lee's Summit MO who gets unbeatable deals on his various Jeeps, but then he knows the owner!

I just searched Maryland because Milous said the first 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (and in cherry red) went to Maryland so I was looking for that is why I started searching.

Why don't you just email or call Heritage and see if they can order what you want for $1500 below invoice?

Very much appreciate the suggestion. However, incentives are effective as of when a vehicle is purchased and driven off, not when ordered. That's one reason I'd rather get one off a lot. Take away the $1k MD (August?) incentive and Heritage's price is the same as I can get near here using Zag.

Still, what we want is turning out to be rarer than I'd figured, so ordering may wind up being the only option. Dealers used to prefer stocking loaded top-end models because that's where the real profit is, but their current primary choices -- Laredos, Limiteds, basic colors -- appear to be wisely suited to a shaky economy.

But lousy economy or not, we want an Overland. Indeed, if the SRT were available with QL we'd spring for that to also handle winter blizzards and offroading.

Why do you think the $1000 cash in Maryland ends anytime soon?

Incentives almost invariably end before the time needed for a special order delivery to take place. Still, your point is well taken, because in the next four weeks or so one of the MD dealers may have what we want in their lot and that juicy incentive might still be in place. If so, unless something better close by comes up, it's down I-95 we go, and thanks again for the tip.

You're welcome. When I first saw the price of $39,499 I was ready to drive out to Maryland which is 2300 miles round trip and 38 hours driving time. $41,000 is still good but not worth the price to ship it to me and I have a trade-in so I want to do this locally when I buy my new WK2 to get the sales tax benefit.

Re: 2012 JGC Build Your Own (Edmunds & USAA ZAG)

The $1000 rebate he was talking about doesn't appear to be for everyone. It's a Lease Conquest rebate good for those who are currently LEASING a non-Dodge, Jeep or Chrysler vehicle and who purchase or lease a Jeep vehicle. It's the same as the current 2011 Conquest rebate so it only applies to those who currently lease a competitor's vehicle or have just come out of the lease in the last 30 days. Here's the language I found on AOL autos site regarding the incentive for 2012s in Baltimore, MD.

Bonus Cash Chrysler 2012 Conquest Lease to Retail/Lease - MACCB1 - Mid-Atlantic Business Center Expires 01/02/12

As I mentioned, there is $1,000 bonus cash for having a lease from a non-Chrysler vehicle.

There is also another $1,000 bonus cash in Maryland per this dealer named Heritage in Baltimore.

Re: 2012 JGC Build Your Own (Edmunds & USAA ZAG)

Gotcha...interesting...a $1000K dealer specific incentive on a 2012? Hmm. I just priced out a 2012 at the dealer yesterday afternoon (Overland 4X4, HEMI, ORAG II, ACC and DVD) and he quoted me the USAA price which was $200 over invoice minus the $500 military rebate so $300 under invoice. I wanted to get real numbers so that's why I went in but no way I'd pay that. They also tried telling me $24,000 for my MINT trade (2009 G37S Sedan) where the KBB is $26,530 and the NADA is $27,225. They said they would "re-appraise" it in two to three months when the ordered vehicle came in meaning it would be less. Needless to say, I DEFINITELY wouldn't be ordering from them.

Re: 2012 JGC Build Your Own (Edmunds & USAA ZAG)

You could get it for $2000 below invoice (including MD rebate and Military rebate) from that dealer in Maryland plus add back $950 for delivery to you, so $1050 below invoice, and sell your car privately, maybe. Do you have a Carmax in San Antonio, they'll buy your car and you don't have to buy a car from them to sell to them.

Yeah I have listed my car on the G37 forum I belong to and last night I listed it on E-bay as well. I'd rather sell it privately for sure but I haven't yet taken it to the Car Max here in San Antonio. I'll wait and see how E-bay plays out. I've had great success there before (succesfully sold 4 vehicles on E-bay and bought one). I'll keep the MD dealer in mind depending on what happens with my G.
