2012 Laredo E with Selec-Terrain

Hey, new member here. I've been driving myself crazy trying to get more information on a vehicle I just bought and have yet to find any answers. I bought a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it appears to be the base 4x4 (E), but it has the Selec-Terrain in the center console, which also leads me to believe that it also most likely has Quadra-Trac II instead of the base level Quadra-Trac I. I've been researching online and haven't found any Laredo E with Quadra-Trac II or the Selec-Terrain. It has cloth seats, normal radio, no gps, or sunroof, or anything else that appears to be extra. So my question is, Did they make the base model with quad II or Selec-Terrain in 2012. Everything i've read suggests they didn't. How can I find out if my jeep has Quad I or Quad II? Obviously the dealer didn't know what Selec-Terrain was because he allowed me to Price match a base Grand Cherokee at a bargain price from a neighboring dealer. Any help or input would be appreciated. Thank you.

The off road package is most likely on your Laredo E. Which does come with select Trac that has Quadra Trac 2.hope this helps

See above, either that or it was an odd fleet order.

My wk was a fleet order, had all the 'features' of the laredo x at the time (leather, heated, blah blah) but no sunroof. It was an impossible order for a regular joe.

Yup, I think I figured out that it's the all-weather package. Thanks for the input!

We have the same odd-duck Laredo E with awp, tow hooks, engine block heat, remote start? I had added some goodies along the way though.

BTW you can register as a Jeep owner at jeep.com and obtain the build sheet info directly from Jeep - Contact Us under "your vehicle" and "equipment listing".

Good choice of Jeeps. You can change alot on these WK2's, (radios, HVAC, etc...), but you cannot change the transfer case(or hasn't been done yet anyway). Often threads come up with guys wanting to change to QT2. Spend some time around here, open your wallet and start modifying!
