Sometimes these systems get into a "bit bucket" situation that just needs time to clear. I've had it happen while traveling a few times and the solution was to turn off the vehicle at the next "rest stop" for 15 or more minutes so that there was a true shutdown. Sometimes, it would be the backup camera frozen to "on". Sometimes it would be a freeze such that I could continue to listen to whatever I was listening to via Bluetooth, but couldn't change the volume or return to the NAV display. (incoming calls still answerable) Etc. And yes, I keep my 730N on the most current firmware release. Letting it "sleep" for a long enough period of time has always cleared the glitch. These things are computers and, well...we know how that works...err...you know what I mean.
