Re: 2012 SRT8 or 2014 Overland?

Personally i would go SRT since you have no need for off road but I am a little biased and LOVE the power/performance that the SRT brings to the table. In all honesty though you probably need to go test drive both and see what you think.

Re: 2012 SRT8 or 2014 Overland?

Thanks for all the responses. Lot's of good points to consider. I've driven the 2014 V8 and V6. While the V6 is probably fine for most of my driving the V8 had a nice punch and just felt like it would be more fun. My neighbor has a 2012 SRT8 and while I haven't driven it I've had rides in it. Pros and cons to both, I think I would be happy with either one. The Overland makes more sense but would be less fun. Tough choice

Re: 2012 SRT8 or 2014 Overland?

The styling differences between the MY 11-13 and 14 are completely subjective, so that should simply play into what the OP prefers. As previously stated...if you want luxury with off road ability get the overland (and relatively good performance for a 5k+ lb truck with V8). If you simply want performance similar to your S4 go for the SRT.

BTW I prefer styling of MY 11-13, although the MY14 has grown on me. Love the flipper glass and dash layout. Seems much less clutter given all the options and I wanted the saddle interior.

Re: 2012 SRT8 or 2014 Overland?

I guess I should have posted. On Monday I picked up a 2014 Billet Silver Overland. Really liking it so far. Last week I had time to drive the V8 and the V6 again and decided on the V6. It just seemed to make more sense. I like the ability to go offroad which I do lightly on occasion.
