Ladies and Gents,

Let's have a sticky thread perhaps that is easy to locate at the top for those buying 2012 WK2s throughout the MY2012. Here's the suggested format below to keep it apples to apples. I think if we can do this it will make it easier for those looking to get an idea of whether they got a good deal without all of us posting a separate thread.

Where you bought
Trim level (Overland, Limited, Laredo)
4X4 or 4X2
Color (Exterior and Interior)
Options
Negotiated vehicle price (DO NOT INCLUDE OTD, TRADE, SALES TAX, ETC.)
Any rebates (special or general) applied
What program if any was used

River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep - Houston TX
Overland
4x2
3.6 V-6
Crystal Black Pearlcoat
Black leather overland interior
Adaptive Cruise Package
Total MSRP: $41615
Invoice: $39189
Negotiated Price: $38989

No available rebates or program incentives.

I feel like I got a fair deal. I know I could have snagged an '11 for a grand or so less, but I like the idea of having the 2nd year model, especially with it being my wife's daily driver.

Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge - Corpus Christi, TX
Overland
4x4
Bright Silver Metallic
Black Leather
5.7L V-8 + 65RFE Transmission
Advanced Warning/Adaptive Cruise Control
Off-Road Adventure Group II
Total MSRP: $48,305
Total Invoice: $45,244
Negotiated price: $45,200
No available incentives or programs

Prior to negotiating the above order, I began the process of using ZAG pricing via Consumer Reports, but the nearest participating dealers were in San Antonio (two hour drive) or Houston (three hour drive), and it was just not worth it to me in order to save a few hundred dollars. My local dealer, the only one in town, is literally right around the corner, and that convenience was more important.

BTW, my dealer kept offering better and better deals on their existing 2011 stock, and even offered to search other dealers for something "close" to what I wanted. I was tempted by a 2011 Summit 4x4, but in the end I decided it was better to spend more money and order the 2012 just like I wanted it. I'm hoping the new tranny (well, same ratios but new torque convertor) will lessen my chances of the dreaded shudder, and that most of the QuadraLift issues are resolved.

Now the wait begins!

Tex

Bergeron Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram,Volvo (New Orleans,La)
2012 Laredo 4x2
Stone White/Black interoir
Pentastar V6 w/ 5 Speed
E Package (UConnect, etc.)
Sticker was around $28,700
Bought for 24,900

Trade in a paid off 2008 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab that I paid 10500 for a year and half ago and got 10k. I had been looking on and off but bought this last Sat as a impulse buy due to the price I got. Could not be happier...hell of a Jeep.

South County Dodge, St Louis, MO
Overland
4X4
Bright Silver Metallic/Black interior
Chrome group/5.7L V8/Media CEnter 730N
Total MSRP: $46,575
Negotiated Price: $39,846
Military rebate: $500

Comments: I actually didn't even negotiate on this price. They had an offer for area military personnel where they offer what I believe is called "Chrysler CDI pricing" along with dealer cash discount and the regular military rebate. I believe I got a fantastic deal. No strings attached. I was actually quite overwhelmed by their appreciation for us old military types. Did I mention I love this vehicle and I get tons of compliments on it?

p.s. This board is a great forum.

Landers McLarty Jeep - Huntsville, AL
Overland
4x4 - 5.7L
True Blue Pearlcoat
Saddle Interior
Adaptive Cruise Package
Total MSRP: $47585
Negotiated Price: $42650
Incentive: $1000

I used the Penfed/ZAG buying program as a negotiating tool as no local dealers had the exact build I wanted. Buying local vs. an out-of-state ZAG dealer w/ the build I wanted on the ground cost me around $600 more, but saved me an 8 hour round trip drive, which was worth it to me. The dealer I purchased from did trailer the WK2 in from another dealer 300 miles away for me.

Bought from ENCS.com (military)
2012 GC Overland
Ziebart Rust Protection
24P/EZH Hemi Auto package
ADG ACC Package
XS3 Saddle/Black Interior
AWY Off Road II
$42,395.00

However, I used a price matching from Dillon Chrysler up in Idaho for the pricing. They have quite a few models priced just like this if someone is looking for a deal. The Ziebart package on my price is $469 so the actual Jeep GC only price is $41,926. This includes the shipping and doc fees but not the TTL.

Lustine Jeep in VA
Laredo
4X4
True Blue Pearl ext, Greystone int
E Group, ORA-I, Security and Convenience, Towing, Sunroof
34,000-ish - MSRP was 35,060
1000 Jeep customer cash and made them give me an extra 500 on my trade
Only used the customer cash and more on the trade than it appraised for. Probably could have gotten it cheaper but no one around here had Laredos with QT-II that weren't Laredo X's going for 38+. As it was they had to bring it up from another dealer in Southern VA (whole 'nother story, including the first one being sold out from under me).

It is nice to see that while the sticker has not increased much since WK2 introduction, but the negotiated prices are much better.
I took delivery of my Limited one year ago. 2 out of the 3 dealers I visited were strictly at sticker on a factory order! Actually one was at sticker, the other would was not interested in a factory order! I paid invoice plus they threw in a couple hundred $ of Mopar accessories at third dealer.
