Re: 2012 WK2 Prices Paid Master Thread

2012 Altitude V6 4x4 with AWCG and NAV:

MSRP: $39,810
EP: $35,694
- Jeep Cash: $1000
- Mail Brochure Coupon: $500 [DO THIS IF YOU ARE BUYING A JEEP ANY TIME SOON. Jeep.com, find the brochure request thing, click the "buying within 30 days" and they'll mail you a $500 coupon. You don't even have to wait for it to be mailed, they can look you up in the system at the dealership and see the coupon.]

= Total paid: $33,819

Includes wheel locks, 4 oil changes and 4 tire rotations. Detailed it plus a full tank of gas (mentioned this because some people said they only got 1/4 tank or whatever).

Went to GO Chrysler Jeep in Golden, CO. Highly recommend Fred as he was great to work with, great guy. I harassed him by email for over a month and it was easy to work with and wasn't pushy in any way.

I'm happy with the price paid (just about $6k off of sticker) and I got 2.74% financing which is pretty damn good too. I am pumped.

Re: 2012 WK2 Prices Paid Master Thread

Wow the prices in the US are nothing compared to what we pay here in Australia. I know there is a freight, but still this is a quote that i have from a jeep dealer here in Australia

Its an overland CRD with Off road adv pack (skid plates) and Prem Paint
$75427.00 AUD Drive away
Now convert this to USD
$ 79605.55

Now tell me WHY? this is a joke just think if the Aussie dollar was not where it is at the moment.

We get so screwed here and the service you get from the dealers and sales & service people has a lot to desired, a guy i work with put his car in for a 10K service and no filters. I know this is spoken about in other threads.

I have not ordered my car yet but cant wait to order and to track the progression of it. but my god the difference in price and i bet service you get from your dealers would be amazing.

anyway looking forward to seeing some better pics of the 2014 so i can order now or wait i want the 8 speed and flappy paddle gears and bigger sat nav and LEDs theres so much that sound so much better

also our financing is a joke as well best i can get is 6.99% and thats good from what i can find out as well.

Laredo. E Group, Black Forrest Green. Bluetooth. - MSRP 32530. Paid 28706.

1.74% rate, which shocked me in a good way.

Thats a pretty good deal. A little less then my Laredo E base sale price but without AWG. Great vehicle for 28K.

Re: 2012 WK2 Prices Paid Master Thread

I love my Grand Cherokee but $79,000? I'd walk .... I apologize to our brothers down under! Are all vehicles expensive there or just Jeeps?

I have to go back and check my paper work for the exact numbers but I believe mine stickered at $42k and I think I paid $36k plus tax.

Re: 2012 WK2 Prices Paid Master Thread

I purchased a 2012 Altitude on 8/31/2012.

MSRP: $42,800
Paid: $37,107

They gave me about $1000 more than I expected for my trade and offered 1.69% financing as well. I was happy with the deal all around. Contacted the internet sales manager and didn't have to deal with shady car salesmen at all

2011 Overland 5.7 Quadradrive
Purchased 30AUG2012
12,000 mi
Rainbow Chrysler, Jeep

Black/black, all options except panoramic sunroof

$38,500 negotiated price
$9,500 trade-in '00 Toyota Taco 4x4

Price seemed average or ok but what sealed the deal was the $9500 on trade in. I was planning on selling the 'Yota myself and would have been happy getting $10,000 for it but they saved me the trouble. It needed new clutch too. I felt like at the end of the day I did ok. And God bless that Toyota. Bought it new in 2000, never had an issue and 12 yrs later got almost half of original sale price!
