I will know which one they choose on Monday, but there are a few in the Chicago area. Adaptive cruise is a must for me, and for only a little over a thousand bucks dont see a reason not to get it. How did you like driving it? Im pretty excited!

Congrats, that's a good deal for this area. Did they have that in stock or did they have to find it? I hear their commercials every morning but they don't have the one I am looking for.

I just placed an order for my Jeep at Huntington Beach Chrysler Jeep in So Cal
2012 Mineral Gray Overland, Saddle, Adaptive Cruise, V6 4x4
MSRP $45,490
Invoice $42,749
negotiated to $1,000 under invoice plus another $1000 for the standard rebate plus $1,000 rebate for currently leasing a car from another manufacturer (even though I'm buying the Jeep) total price before tax & License and $55 doc fee
$39,749

This may not be the best deal posted but I had multiple dealerships turn this offer down and just let me leave, these guys are a few hours from my house but I get to the area for business pretty regularly so not too much of a hassle. Plus I'll be getting EXACTLY what I want.

By the looks of all the prices paid, it appears that not many have paid the actual price of the vehicle. I'm trying to get everything in order now to order my new vehicle. What do I have to do to get the dealer to drop the price down about 5k? What are some techniques that I can use to get the best deal?

Invoice is always a good place to start...I would never pay MSRP
