He wasn't silencing anyone. He was adding helpful info that wasn't in his original post. He showed 1 run and 1 set of output numbers which to this "ill informed keyboard warrior" implies 1 dyno run. No biggie just going on the info presented. Altitude, yet another helpful new piece of info to explain the slightly larger diff than normal between engine and rear wheel hp numbers.

Thanks again ClarksHawk for posting. Let us know how it goes in a few weeks. Also curious if you are planning any more mods.

Don't worry my friend I won't be. I just find it funny how people are so quick to jump to conclusions and say the dyno isn't reading correctly. I am happy to know that intake actually does something because I'll definitly be picking one up for my vehicle. Thanks ClarksHawk

I feel the numbers are true for the conditions and altitude.
Thank you for the added info, which helps explain (altitude) and adds more confidence (4 dyno pulls each config.) in the results. This information was absent in the original post. That being said, that torque gain is still spectacularly...unbelievable. Any drag strip times (improvements) or documented pre- and post- upgrades 0-60 runs ?

Re: 2013 5.7L V8 GC TrailHawk and my Dyno run.

okay guys... calm down.. everyone made good points here. I did not give all the details in my original post.

The runs are the best of all the runs. These runs were all consistent to each other, yet the ones i posted were the most accurate or best runs the vehicle made. The full history of the day; I live approx 21 miles from my house. I was all highway. I arrived at 850am and had my first run about 915am. i do not remember the air temps. I can see if they are posted on my dyno sheets.

The Jeep was bone stock with under 7k miles on it, 91 octane Shell gas and in Auto mode but using the tap shifting to "keep" it in 3rd gear.

After my runs, we turned off the engine and I installed the Volant Intake, and then repeated the steps of the first runs for the second set of runs. I only video recorded a few of the runs.. since watching a vehicle strapped to rollers is boring. I did it mostly for the exhaust (or intake) tone change.

Unfortunately, being in Colorado, Bandimere Speedway was not open yet. I was unable to perform any 1/4 mile testing on my stock set up. however i do plan on making a few passes when they open.

currently, i have no further desire or plans to modify the performance after these modifications.

Re: 2013 5.7L V8 GC TrailHawk and my Dyno run.

Clarkshawk, first of all thank you for even doing this and sharing this. Many people are skeptics/ self declared experts and just rant back and forth with non of their own evidence/dyno runs. Its not like you work for Volant or anything, you just wanted to show the gains and you paid out of your own pocket to do it. Again THANK YOU!

Skeptics, do a search on youtube on hemi and volant on dyno...pretty much all the hemi cars make about an average of 7-10hp increase with the volant.

Chill dude! Nobody is ranting, just discussing and besides if you are going chide someone get it right. It's the torque that is being questioned/discussed. The other thing "discussed" was the higher than average delta (33%) between rated and rear-wheel hp. Altitude answers that one.

Why do people take simple discussion comments and then rip the commenter. I HAVE the Volant and Corsa Cat-Back AND have personally built about 20 motors bottom up. Not an expert by any means, but more than qualified to discuss.

Thats awesome, 50 tq is surely something you would be able to feel while driving..
OP, could you feel a pretty big difference after the intake?
