2013 - "New 20" wheels for SRT" Can't wait to hear the "LOVE THEM" "HATE THEM" arguments on these.

Any rumblings of the 6.2 Supercharged Apache engine?

Again..Thank you Milous for this info.

Well maybe in 2015 I can get 2012 srt at a better price. I like the 8 speed trans

it is nice to plan for the 8 speed tranny but am going to still like my 5 speed srt8. ( but in the case of lower fuel consumption then yea its gonna be better but in my case am happy with one gas tank for a whole week !)

as for the new rims, i happen to like mine as well but even if the new ones came i wouldnt really think of changing them.

interior change?

hmmm i think im in love with the ones i have thank you

new colors? i chose mine for a reason :p

LED lights at the back?

well.. i dont think thats hard to implement :)

in general Milous your the best

I'm one of them that was waiting. Now the big decision...Get a 2012, wait for the 2013 to arrive, or hold off for the 2014 refresh...I can't decide!!

Knee jerk reaction to the early dislike of the SRT Wheels by the SRT team. I think most owners now actually like them, only people who don't are the WK1 bashers who find anything about the WK2 to bitch about. IMO, they should stay with what they have on there.

It's still quite a few months until 2013 production begins, options such as wheels can and do change at the last minute. It's possible that they could still offer the 2012 wheels along with the new wheels. This sort of advance info is hard to 100% confirm, hence the "preliminary" advisory on the list.

IMO, the best wheelset we've seen on the WK2 SRT8 thus far.

Looks ok - but the 5 stars are just played out - need something new and different - 5 stars have been around since Michael was Jackson.

That Jeep also looks especially good because it has been lowered...which the stock Jeep also needs - at least bring the ass down to meet the front - with the tow option and the adjustable shocks you can easily level out a load - not sure why the ass end is higher anyway on a stock Jeep - they did the same thing with the WK1 SRT8 and there was not much towing going on.

The supercharged 6.4 is absent from the list...

After finally driving one the only flaw in my mind is the absence of about another 70-90hp...with that - price justification and a real world performance alternative to ballpark priced non-US performance utes is a reality.

In my mind to be legitimately considered a player in the performance ute market you need to pour on the HP, just like Caddy did with the CTS-V. You cannot argue with HP - it will win everytime, when you pander your ute as a "performance based SUV"

Weight and HP - fine tune and build - and they will come.

Wazzup 08? BTW your wheel set was the crack that started my addiction. UR the enabler. The above photo is credited to JG member Smoove in the WK2 SRT8 forum.

Yea, love the 5-spoke star set wheels, not just on the Jeep JGC either. There's good reason they have been around since the 60's muscle car era - cause they are balanced, beautiful, and classic. My second favorite set were the SEMA 22" WK2's for the JGC.

I understand why some think they aren't contemporized or are played out cause the 5 star has been around since the Boss Mustang and Cragar Mags, to each their own.

^^haha you have enabled way more guys than I have. You my friend are the pot calling the kettle black as if I recall correctly there were a lot of "firsts" and "ideas" for your wk2...I just followed the line ahead of me and the WK guys that started this site, u paved the way!!!

I got lucky on my wheels...thanks for the compliment and I hope in no way did I push you to the rehab facility earlier than we all are going hahaha

^^^ That would be nice. Hopefully it will compete with the Escalade.

I want to know more about this - SRT8 SP. What is SP?

Maybe it is the big news of the 8 Speed Tranny to come out on the 2013 right away!!!!
