Re: 2013 Jeep Deals

In the NY/NJ area Chrysler and Hann finance are offering a $5000 rebate to lease via a 39mo Hann finance program. Some of these "too good to be true" prices cane include this incentive if in the target geographic area. I just leased a 2013 Laredo X MSRP $40,888 for $32,500 (1% below invoice minus $6000 in rebates) through this program.

Re: 2013 Jeep Deals

I did notice a few said "lease price" under the notes section, along with a lot f other BS, and I was curious what that actually meant. Now I do. Thanks,

Any one near Nebraska, New Chrysler Dodge RAM Jeep & Used Car Dealership in Fremont, NE | Serving Blair, Lincoln & Omaha | Gene Steffy Chrysler Jeep Dodge have a 13 trailhawk 6 k off and some others discounted down. They are a really good dealer. Bought my 13 last November, kickin myself for not waiting.

A dealer in my area has the below prices for two of his in-stock 2013 Overland Hemi 4X4ís. Do any of you experienced Jeep GC owners think these are good deals so far or should I actually wait awhile on the possibility of a similar good deal on a 2014 since Iím not in a hurry to purchase one.

Re: 2013 Jeep Deals

^Clancy, both of those are good if not great deals. At some point soon the 13's will no longer be available at these deals as they sell down on 10%+ below invoice.

Thanks, MH. There is nothing new with the 2014's that is a "must have" for me, really. Going for the same old Hemi anyway and would just be missing the 8-speed. Can live without the alleged 1 MPG gain. Also, any added depreciation purchasing a 2013 should mean nothing as I am planning to keep the Overland for 8+ years with the low annual mileage I'll be putting on.

Still mulling it over, but also must decide whether to purchase the extended warranty from one of the external websites mentioned in the JG Forums.

Their real price is $43,958 - $2,000 in incentives (power bonus of 1,500 and cash allowance of $500) = $42,958.

Invoice = 44,891
holdback = $1,407

So, they are at invoice - 2/3rds of holdback = $43,958 then minus any incentives.
Correction: $41,958 then - 500 personal bonus cash (if you got one in the mail from Jeep) = $41,458.

Re: 2013 Jeep Deals

Clancy, those sound good and are what I am targeting in my area (MD/PA/VA/DE/NJ) but have found that many dealerships are not actually honoring the internet pricing as they include every available incentive to get you in the door. But I am sure you can negotiate close to it.

I am patiently working the system and if the market dries up before I can make a deal then i'll get a '14 in the fall.

Thanks mhassler. If they do not honor the pricing posted or any other verbal agreement, then I can just take a walk. I'm in the same situation you are as I don't have to have one right now, but would like to have one before the end of 2014. 2013, 2014, does not matter to me because I like them both. I only "need" one for towing my 5,000 lb boat short distances and flat-towing it behind a motorhome.

In 1987 I worked on a below invoice on a new F350 dually at the Ford dealer for 3 hours. They made me take so much time during the process of grinding them down, I told them to throw in a free set of floor mats before I signed. After refusing (they were not happy about my knowledge/persistence) I walked out at 9PM. When I got home, there was a message on the answering machine to come back and they would give me the mats. When I returned, they also agreed to 6 free oil changes in order for me to sign. They got some of their Holdback and a dealer incentive so I didn't buy into their "we're the loser on this deal." At least I had fun!

I just picked up a 2013 Overland (mineral gray) V6 this past weekend for about 11% below sticker. Sticker $46,580 and I paid $41,234. Was deciding between 2013 Overland and 2014 Limited. Obviously chose the Overland. Good luck.

Re: 2013 Jeep Deals

I just signed a deal with Safford in Springfield, Va. for a 2013 Laredo with a Hemi. Has an MSRP of $39,315 and I am paying $33,293 not including taxes and tags. Good luck everyone!

Re: 2013 Jeep Deals

In the Baltimore, MD region (MD/NoVA/DC/SoPA) the best I have found is a 5.53% under invoice and that was on a dealer demo Summit with 3,200-miles and that GSM said he was all-in, giving up all of his $2600 holdback.

Every dealer I've called/e-mailed is offering $800 - $1200 (2-3% under invoice for Overlands & Overland Summits. I qualify for $3,000 in incentives so that is certainly helping bring the cost down but not where I thought I could get it when reading this thread.

For the $3500 difference I may have to go with a 2014 Overland through the DC area group buy at 7% under invoice. I called Koons, spoke to the GM and he is honoring it.

I do like the saddle and flipper glass on the 13s though....
