Oh oh oh... got it.

JeepGarage the TV show, so does that make you Kramer or Seinfeld.... Jacko obviously has to play to opposing role. I thing George suits me.... I always wanted to host festivus.

Re: 2014.5

Milous was awesome and chased down the issue of ACC with stop not being on my September build...which we now know didn't make it to SRTs.

I remember reading earlier builds had a different forward collision warning system. Maybe even that the ACC/stop builds have forward collision "plus," which my September SRT build sheet shows despite not having ACC/stop:
SRS Forward Collision Warning Plus

Can anyone with an eariler build verify if they have the "plus" or was that another late add?

Re: 2014.5

Actually I am looking into the retrofit. I have already chased down two versions of the ABS control module that are NOT natural upgrades but different parts altogether, based on 2 separate VIN numbers. They are actually priced $110 apart, with the newer more expensive unit for the later models that have the ACC W/ STOP capability. There's also a 100 dollar price difference between the Adv. Tech Group packages for these 2 VINs. I also contacted Bosch Germany and I established that the LRR3 unit must be the same (the radar eye at the front) because the LRR4 has not made it into production yet. I was then referred to Bosch USA and now I am working that angle.

I believe retrofit is possible, but at what price and how involved. ABS control unit? Not so much. Additional sensors...well that gets complicated.

I could use some help. Who's interested?

My Jeep, built in April, has this ABS Module:
68199249AC, currently replaced by 68199249AH
http://www.mopar.com/part/68199249AH...3222600&b=jeep

And then there is the ABS Control Unit, on the newer Jeep
68085397AB
http://www.mopar.com/part/68085397AB...2366446&b=jeep

This is the sensor

Quote:
Distance 0.5…250 m
Accuracy 0.1 m
Relative speed -75 …+60 m/s
Accuracy 0.12 m/s
Which is the same between both cars.

Still working on it. I would love it it it boiled down to a few hundred dollars and one - two modules. I don't know yet.

I would do it for a few hundred and a module or 2 change but not into extensive expensive changes to get it done which I have a feeling is the direction it would go. I asked my dealer about that when I was in a few weeks ago and they just shrugged their shoulders and said my model was not equipped with that ...ya no kidding that is why I asked.

I'm in. Also these so called MY14.5 also have the automatic park/exit feature setting like the manual claims, but no go on the MY14.
Funny thing is the msrp has not changed but the earlier MY14 jeep owners get the finger on these features while jeep gets the money and does not deliver.

I'm not sure if it was all trim levels, but I do recall one or two price increases mentioned since I bought mine.

Re: 2014.5

I am researching and looking into a used 2014 Summit. There is one at a dealer 100 miles away. They do not have the window sticker. Is there anyway to tell if it has the "Stop" feature (2014.5)? I looked at the car-fax and the it arrived at a dealership in October 13' and sold in October.

Thanks.

If the build date on the sticker on the door jam say August 2013 or later then you have it. they starting putting it in them sometime in the end of July 2013.
