I use Sport mode when I need quick acceleration but in this case I just needed normal acceleration. Neither Sport mode nor Eco mode gives you this. That is why you would turn off Eco mode, but NOT use Sport mode. Also, Sport mode activates my air suspension unnecessarily when only needing normal acceleration.

I now use the paddle shifters since I know how to get it back into Eco mode without the button.
