The Cooper AT3 is going to be significantly louder than the Forteras. They were my last set of tires - currently running Toyo Open Country ATIIs. Almost identical to the Coopers. Both great AT tires and a significant step up if you are going to go offroad at all. If you are going to be on pavement most or all of the time, I would go another route.

It surprises me you're still doing business with these jerks. I'd get out of that deal if at all possible. I wonder what else will go south with this vehicle.

There are many threads about great tires up above in the Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires - Jeep Garage - Jeep Forum forum section. You may find that information useful in your negotiations.

No exactly Jeep related, but I just logged in to give you a big "Go Wolfpack"! Hoping they do well in the ACC tourney in a couple of days.

Re: 2014 GC Overland Tires

Cooper just released many more sizes of their 2014 new product award winning SRX tire. Positive reviews and are also not expensive. AT3 are great off road, a bit noisy but fairly quiet for an AT tire. SRX would be better for mostly highway use.

For an AT tire I was pleasantly surprised that my new Nokian Rotiiva's seem as quiet as the OEM Michelin's were.
