Does the Jeep's settings match the others. You can choose between fastest, shortest, and I think cheapest route.

Re: 2014 GC OWNER'S Review

NAV choices are Fastest, Shortest, Most economical
Mapquest is shortest time, shortest distance
Google is Avoid highways or avoid tolls
Bing is the same
I'll have to experiment
It would just be nice to have a way to see how the NAV is going to take you on a trip by looking at it on a PC beforehand. What would really be nice would be if there was a way to download a trip from a PC to the NAV. I always plan a trip using one of the 3 then when I try to use the NAV, it takes me a totally different way. Recently it would have taken me WAY out of my way and on toll roads when the way I have always gone is shorter and no tolls!

What bugs me is you can buy a cheap Garmin and get free updates for life but you buy a $52000 Summit and have to pay for them!!!!!!!!!

Re: 2014 GC OWNER'S Review

I've had my 2014 Laredo for 3 weeks and 1400 miles, so far loving it, the solid feel and build quality seem on par with my BMW I had a while back, it's almost as fun to drive too. it has QuadraTrac ii and select terrain with the Offroad package 1.
I'm not a hardcore 4wheeler but when getting to hunting and fishing spots it's sometimes necessary. it kept me from getting stuck this weekend in a deep rut on a gravel road, it looked like so many other mud puddles I had ran thru previously but this one was deep, like skip plates on the ground deep on the passenger side, but with a little throttle and the traction control It drug me out of the rut without much trouble(lotta noise tho, I guess that was the traction control).

hope you guys are enjoying yours as much as I am.

No you don't...

If the dealer is charging you for updating the Navigation, go do a different one.

They always charge to update navigation software, that is how it has been since the beginning of time. Uconnect updates are free but completely different.

Re: 2014 GC OWNER'S Review

Has anyone gotten free NAV updates? The dealer said to call Jeep which I did/ He thought since I have Max Care they would be covered but Jeep says they are not FREE..I can't remember the price I was quoted..maybe around $150?? It is a pain especially since a lot of speed limits are now 70 and the NAV still thinks they are 65!!
