Good list. I'll add honeycomb grille inserts, chrome tow hooks, and Overland badge. Also, Navigation included and free Travel link and Sirius Traffic for a year.

Plus the wood steering wheel. The 20" wheels are also standard.

Quoting myself. You know, we all keep thinking that the main difference between the Overland and the Limited with the Luxury package are the differences in trims and appearance? Well, I think the Overland has the towing and heavy duty engine components that are not in the Limited. I think for that, you need to add the towing package in the Limited.

Re: 2014 grand cherokee

The Overland also saves you a lot of time thinking about what options to order.

Re: 2014 grand cherokee

Point being there are things you can get on both the Overland and Limited by choosing options ... The things you cannot get on the Limited but get on the Overland include:

- wood steering wheel
- leather and stitched dash
- monochromatic paint treatment regarding lower fascia and wheel wells
- chrome tow hooks
- puddle lamps under side mirrors
- rear ambient lighting
- dimming passenger mirror
- power folding side mirrors
- cargo net

I priced out a CRD Limited and Overland and the price difference was $3,705 more for the Overland. The Overland had the Quadra Lift and Quadra Drive II while the Limited did not. The QDII was $795 so that makes it $2,910 more ... If a person could figure out what Quadra Lift would cost on its own then subtract that from $2,910 and whatever's left is basically what you would be paying for the things I listed above. You can decide if that's worth it to you. Personally the difference in exterior is worth it to me.

Awesome post! Thank you! Exact dilemma (if you want to call it that) in what I'm deciding on now.

Definitely going with the Brilliant Black/Black Overland instead of the Limited. Still going back and forth and back again between the V6/V8/CRD

Re: 2014 grand cherokee

If you go with anything other than the Diesel the price difference between the 2 reduces another $1000 due to the fact the diesel Limited with Lux group II is $1000 off with the diesel.

The MSRP of the Overland I priced out to order is $54,075 (options - diesel, advance tech, engine block heater, Quadra drive II) ... Yikes!

Re: 2014 grand cherokee

Are you able to configure the Overland with the 18" wheel instead of the 20"?
