Theoretically, the TSB is incorporated in subsequent vehicles on production line.

Its a base part of new vehicles.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee AC is yours cold?

I was having this issue also. Dealer applied the TSB and the AC is obscenely cold now.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee AC is yours cold?

Anyone have problems with "stinky" AC? Normally when you go from non-AC to turning on the AC, or vice versa.

Just took it to the dealership last week, they cleaned out my cabin filter (which I replaced myself just a month or 2 ago) and they performed a sani-clean (or something) spray into the AC system... but it STILL stinks.

I'm at 25k miles, on a 2012.

You never know what crawls under and into a vehicle when it is parked. Up north I've heard of mice, etc. Down south, often feral cats/kittens: Florida man cuts open truck to save kitten - CNN.com

FRAM has a cabin filter that appears to have more activated charcoal, plus baking soda, that fits perfectly. It appears to help a little bit with the "stale socks" syndrome that appears when A/C is turned off and all the moisture starts to dry out. That, plus a good dose of Frigi-Fresh [available at any parts store] helps a bit. Problem is that the A/C makes an excellent breeding ground for fungus, mold, etc. and the occasional rodent.

Agreed. I had the TSB applied and the A/C is now MUCH colder than it was. I live in North Texas and we are getting into summer now. 95 degree days are here and it's only going to get hotter.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee AC is yours cold?

I also noticed my AC not getting cold enough, even on days when the temps are in the low to mid-80's. Mine is in the shop waiting for the replacement axle for the boot clamp failure issue, and they did say there was an HVAC software update they were also going to flash it with so I'll find out when I pick it up if the A/C is any cooler... stay tuned!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee AC is yours cold?

Ok, post update/flash on the HVAC after picking up the car, does seem colder. High 80's today and had the system set to 70 degrees on auto, it kept the cabin nice and cool...
