Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Just read this information on another site, very interesting. I'm glad I couldn't afford a WK2, because now hopefully I will have enough money come 2014 Jeep time

It sounds like you have a sweet Jeep already. Why upgrade if you don't have too? it's not about keeping up with the Joneses

I guess for some people it's not about being practical

Alright, I was just curious why something in June wouldn't make it the best DD seeing as it's a pretty capable vehicle. I use practical in the sense that the vehicle you have is an awesome vehicle so why add another unless something detrimental exists on the current one or it's just the lifestyle of more, more, more . The more the merrier I guess

Lol, not this year. Some things unfortunately came up and I missed my first one....previously had a perfect record.

I cannot divulge Mr. B's whereabouts, as they are confidential. However, Mr. B was probably over your shoulder while you were drinking, listening like a hawk lol! What I can say, in the cryptic language usually used by the 'insiders' is that what you have said in your previous post regarding MR. B sounds plausible.

You really need to stop with this idea you are going to protect anything posted on a message board from being put anywhere else in cyberspace. You're going to have a coronary. The entire world that can access the internet can copy and paste info from here and put it wherever they want without referencing JG. Only way you can stop their access is to lock your forum viewing to only those with user profiles logged in. Even then, if a user copies it and pastes it on www.spongebobrulez.com forums, you will have no idea who did it so long as they use a different screename.

Case in point: Google search of "2014 Grand Cherokee", this thread is the second link given to anyone to search that string.

I understand your frustration a little by wanting to keep the credit here, but it's just not going to happen. Another case in point, I can take anything from a Car & Driver article, ESPN, Fox News, etc. etc. article right now and put it wherever I want online without citing it. They can't do anything.

Just because they can't ban everyone who steals their info without a reference to the original source, doesn't mean they shouldn't ban the ones that they know did it.

I believe this is exactly why they do it. Someone searching for that info brings them to this site. Notice the third one on that list

I believe plagiarism is still plagiarism whether your source is a web site, magazine, or an article. It is at the very least immoral to steal someone else's work without at least citing the source. If you copy and paste an article from ESPN.com and put it on your sports blog web site, you can expect to be contacted by their lawyers.
