Lol, yes.. 4jeepdiesel is just messing around.. You've gotta read a few pages back to see where the sarcasm begins. Nobody in their right mind would even compare a Sportage to the GC. Much less make an "informed" purchase. Lol

I think I have seen you post this 1,000 times. I had regular black on my 06 and it sucked. It only looks good when you buff it every month. Other than that it shows every imperfection and never stays clean. I would think Brilliant Black would be so much easier to take care of.

Nothing to do with the tidbit, but diesel models will have electric pwr steering, not sure if I have mentioned that yet...

Regarding tidbit, still trying to get more details as I cannot see any reason why it wouldn't be applicable to all 4WD models regardless of engine...

Cool, thanks for the info! I think we can call the pwr steering a "tidbit", too.

Yep, I'll add it to the official tidbit list. Good for a few hp too .

Tidbit "SElect wheel": Knob/selector can be used when off-roading to allot 100% of traction to one specific wheel. Don't even ask me if that makes any sense...

Hello Milous, I hope i am in the right place for my question. Would you or someone else know or can find out what type of fuel pump will be used in the GC diesel model. I am waiting for diesel model to arrive, had experience with VW diesel which i was very happy with but i traded in cause of their HPFP failures. Any help from anyone on this subject would be well appreciated, Thxs Roadmaster45

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

For anyone who is planning on ordering a 2014 model... there will be a tidbit I will be posting sometime next month that has to do with something you will need to know before placing your order, something VERY important (and I do mean VERY important!!).

The engine is very similar to what is being used in current export models. I'm sure is aware of the fuel pump issues, and with production still around 5 months away I would assume this will be addressed. If I find out anything more I will post it here.

I hope you're going to tell us to order a '13.
That 6" screen just doesn't cut it.

My '98 Grand Cherokee was Black Clear coat. I love the deep look of it. What I don't like about my current Brilliant Black is the faded out (and/or dusty when clean) look it shows (to me at least) in bright sunlight.
