This worked on my 2012 Overland and it also works on my 2014 Summit.

Yes, because they didn't pay attention to the other 10 notes they received that the part had changed.

They "assumed" that the oil filter was the same as previous years. We all know what assume means.

One of my favorite sayings...

In this case there wasn't much to assume, they had postings and info kits and all kinds of things out there before they even started shipping the units. I guess kind of like the other TSBs, we gotta print them and bring them with us for good measure!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

OK you expert WK2'ers I have a question that I can't get a clear answer on. The Limited when you go LuxII which I will with the diesel has what is called LED daytime running headlamps with HIDs.
The Overland, Summit and SRT have what are called LED daytime running lamps.

I know this is splitting hairs but are these the same? I want the ring of LEDs around the headlamp bucket area which is what the Overland and up have. If I can't get them on the Limited I will go to the Overland. I don't need the equipment added on the Overland but will do that for the looks of the lamp LEDs.

I am probably the only person that cares about this difference but the Overland is pretty good bump up from the Limited.
Thanks all...

LUXII gives you the same look of headlights as the Overland (LED Ring). The Summit is slightly different, it has adaptive headlights (turn with the vehicle) but again the "look" you are after.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

G'day to the JG mob over there.

Thanks for putting up with the rants from Downunder regarding the long wait for the MY14's.
Finally got mine after 10 long months (pregnancy is faster than that!!)

Thanks also to Milous and friends re this thread and the instant responses to questions from OZ.

Got 2,000k's (1200miles) on the clock and its ticking over like clockwork.

Finished the blingerisation of the Laredo CRD and its ready to hook up the caravan (trailer) and head off into the bush now.

heres the finished product.

Summit mesh grille inserts, blacked out front panel ala SRT and chrome lower grille surround.

Looks schmick.

Thanks man. I was not certain as they used slightly different language regarding the lamps.

Anyone know if the passenger side mirror on a Limited with Lux2 is supposed to have auto-dimming like the drivers side has?

I believe with the Lux II, both sides should auto dimming.

Thanks Shannon. I think my passenger mirror is not. It doesn't have the tinted look like my drivers side. I would appreciate a confirmation from someone that has a '14 Limited Lux2.

Did a little more digging, and on the Limited, you only get the dimming passenger mirror if you have the advanced tech group.
