No winch. Other than the switch you would not be able to physically see it.

Hey Milous, all kidding aside. I really appreciate all the great info you and the others put out for us on this board. I know they have discontinued a couple of the colors. Do you know when they might reveal what the colors and models might be available for the 14s? Also, if the head honchos do value the opinion of their customers and this board, may I suggest they put a poll on this board to help decide one or two of the next colors for 2014?
I think it would be interesting to see what the potential buyers would really want but I'm sure they've already decided.

Can't wait for all the upcoming tidbits!

"Colors" is a tough area to understand or figure out how and why decisions are made. Colors can be finalized as much as 2-3 years in advance, with an entire marketing department focused on "trends" and tons of other data:

"To formulate colors for future automobiles, Chrysler Group employs a creative staff dedicated solely to developing color ideas. With a two- to three-year timeframe for bringing a new automobile to market, the challenge for an automotive designer is to predict which colors will be popular in the distant future".

"We refer to industry color forecasts, including the color Marketing Group and the International color Authority, in order to validate our color direction... We have our fingers on the pulse of which colors will be popular in the future."

I may have some info on 2014 colors next month. It appears that the current silvers, blacks and reds will continue, hopefully there will be some exciting new colors offered.

Oh, haha, yea! My 2005 Grand Cherokee that I drove for the last 6 years was Bright Silver Metallic. Beautiful color and easy to maintain. Although I still cleaned it religiously.

Can I take a stab and guess electric differential lock?

Option on Porsche Cayenee already:
Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus)
Driving-torque proportioning on rear-wheels with electronically controlled rear-axle differential lock

So that would eliminate it because of the clue that this has never been offered before, if I'm remembering the clue correctly, or was it never offered on a Chrysler or Jeep product before.

edit: just noticed Milous' no dice response.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

was going to say methanol/water injection since it seemed it was diesel specific, then he said all 4x4's, or did i read wrong(and "m" isn't the second half of alphabet i guess)? meth/water injection would add power and help keep cool off road, and add mpg's on road, never offered on a vehicle before(only aftermarket). winch(powerwagon), forward camera('13 Raptor has it), trying to think of all the add ons i read about in diesel mags, and four wheeler, etc. would be nice to have a decent set of shoes so i don't have to buy new tires for my new jeep.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Has anyone guessed a built in compressor to inflate/deflate "tire pressure" from a switch/knob? (I think this feature may have been on hummers but I'm not sure.)

Or a knob to change the interior lighting color?

Or perhaps a periscope-type PTZ camera that we can control from inside the cabin?
