Hood part number same as '11-13..

Just for reference, the part no. for the non-SRT hood ends in "AD" which means its only been screwed with by the engineers 3 times since launch back in 2010.. That's pretty good, considering I've got some parts that are "AG," and "AM".. (Meaning they've been revised quite a bit.)

While red isn't bad at all, I have my doubts it would look good on a Summit - considering that EVERY Summit will have that grey painted lower part.

IMO, that only leaves black, white and - of course - grey.

I'm not the white type so it's down to grey or black. Black on black is a bit too hot for me here in FL so black exterior only if the brown interior is nice. If it isn't, it will be black interior and grey exterior. Brown interior works with black and grey exterior. Decisions, decisions...

Hmmm, Milous didn't tell me yet if the lower bumper grey is identical to the Graphite grey paint.

Auburn with brown interior.

The Auburn is a more complex color like the max steel. It should hide dirt nicely & isn't wimpy but not badass either. It's a nice color that should look very sharp on a Summit! Classy & rugged but not anything as close to Cashmere Pear. Now that's a color I wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley.

How about This Cisco... We will pick out the vehicle for you and you just pay for it, deal??

I think Jeep should offer the Ivory Tri-coat Pearl, it looks more off white with a pearl look to it in person. this would be a much better color than cashmere. Unless Chrysler is doing what they did with Mineral grey and Tungsten metallic, cashmere may turn out looking like the Ivory Tri -coat. I'm not crazy about bright ass white LOL

As I look at the "viewing" list, I kinda feel like a parent.. So many of you guys joined this site after me even, yet have become orange and blue members.. It's such a beautiful thing. I know it was mostly Milous, but still.. It's amazing how impactful/helpful this thread alone has been for so many ppl.. I've never seen anything like it. All us 30,000+ members should PayPal Milous $2 so he can go buy whatever Jeep he wants..

The Selec-Speed control is like a low-speed cruise control for off-road use. It allows you to select/set a speed for hill ascent and descent on steep grades. Once set, speed can be raised or lowered via the paddle controls. While in this mode brake and gas pedal functions are automatic. Available on Limited and Overland only.

R.I.P. Flipper Glass. :(

Oh well, it never really worked right anyway. Still had to lift it by hand. It didn't pop open on its own like a Liberty or first gen WK.

 What are you talking about? Please explain and make sure it takes up at least 3 or 4 pages so that people get really annoyed.:slapfight:

Thanks in advance.

I didn't even know Milous' site had a spot for donations.. I think I'll head over there now.

I know ... was saying that it should be clearer. From my experience if it takes more than 5 minutes to decide what you want than it is likely that somebody will walk away saying: "Ughhh .ohhh .. aaa ... I will figure it out later". In that scenario "later" rarely happens.

Just saying ...

Sooo, the only thing left Jeep should change/upgrade with the facelift would be an improved bumper to bumper warranty (4 years, 50K miles) and free scheduled maintenance for that period.

Since that is unlikely to happen, I was wondering if Jeep is offering that for purchase. I do know you can get an extended warranty - but is there also a "package" that covers scheduled maintenance?

#6,362 ·
What surprised me with my last Jeep was that the warranty didn't provide for a loaner car. They did offer a very low cost policy, through Chrysler, to cover this.

I bought the policy, but never had to use it.

My neighbor was in this dealer's Chevy store a couple of months ago. He was prepared to wait a few hours. They asked him if he wanted to borrow a car.

I have always gotten loaners from Ford ad Chevy if a car stayed overnight, and from Acura just for the asking.

No need to take off of work. Plan on talking to deal on phone do order the Jeep. Otherwise it would be a 3hr drive or so to see him.
