And who needs a dealer's options list when you have Milous!? Just go over to WK2Jeeps, pick out the stuff you want, decide on a color, and Marlon or myself will find it and give you a mental picture of what it looks like! Lol..
A mental picture of that "caramel" interior would be nice

By the way, will the New 7-inch Vehicle Information Center be standard on Overlands?

Best news I've heard all day! I'd uncork the stock engine nearly immediately anyway.

I hope they release a competition white SRT8 similar to the alpine but with the same paint scheme as the other colors .... you know color matched grill and silver rims rather than the black ones. I've got the coin set aside to pull the trigger so I hope it doesn't disappoint. The last few pages have been reassuring.

Thank you Chevyboy and Milous.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

When I first went to Jeep.com and 'built' a Summit, it showed one interior color and limited exterior colors. Today, with the order book closed, there is a choice for the interior, and a bigger choice for the exterior.

Could they be updating the site, maybe getting ready for the 2014's?

I checked it out and although I believe you are correct that there are more color options for the summit, none of the colors are "new" to the grand cherokee. They will be getting rid of the winter chill and rugged brown, mineral gray, and bright silver metallic. The only color I have heard that will be introduced is the the billet that is currently on the wrangler for 2013. Billet looks like a flat gray "battleship" color. Search in this forum for a few posts that show pictures. There may be a billet color that has a metallic finish to it as well. Not sure what it'll look like.
All I know is that a large number of us who want to get a 2014 are craving some good colors as opposed to the traditional black/white/gray.

I haven't noticed anything smaller about the exhaust tips. (Resonator Assembly)

But who cares if they are smaller?

I think you should do your due diligence and measure them for us to be sure. It could be a deciding factor in getting a 2013 or 2014 or even waiting to see what the 2016s look like after the redesign at that point.

If they are too small, you can always put some of those awful resonating gawdy pipes those little street racer Hondas with the huge spoilers have on them. I'd like to put a stick of dynamite into one of those pipes and see what it looks like after it blows up. I'm sure it'll sound better.

Maybe Jeep will offer an EES (Extended Exhaust System), like on this Durango:

Was that the answer to the "tidbit" that the second letter or word began with an E?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

First off, thanks to everyone in this thread (especially Milous, Marlon and ChevyBoy) for all of the helpful info. I just spent 3 hours catching up on all 140 pages and can't wait to get the final details on color / features for the different trim levels.

I noticed one thing on the wk2jeeps radio page that caught me by surprise. Is the voice texting feature in the 2014 models only going to work with Android and Blackberry phones (as that site says)? No iPhone compatibility?? That would be REALLY disappointing / surprising. Can anyone confirm?
