No kidding. Well please tell them we want an awesome and "fitting" orange-y color (like this maybe), like really badly.

Voice Text Reply

Uconnect Phone can read or send new text messages on your mobile phone.

Your mobile phone must support SMS over Bluetooth in order to use this feature.

If the Uconnect Phone determines your phone is not compatible with SMS messaging over Bluetooth the “Messaging” button will be greyed out and the feature will not be available for use.

I wonder how this color would look on a WK?

I'm sorry, I believe the correct name is "Saddle." Looks like this; http://motormania.eu.com/MM/wp-conte...d-Summit-2.jpg
That interior with RB exterior and the new interior trim is the combo I was speaking of.. I was unaware that RB was being discontinued.

And by the way, the 7" screen you're speaking of is actually 8". One might say "who's counting?," but I doubt such a person is a member of this forum. Anyway, I'd imagine it'd be standard on the SRT and Summit.. However, every one (Overland) I've seen so far has had it, but irdk if all of 'em will get it, so don't get me to lying..

I'd buy one!.. I'd love to see ANY shade of orange on the WK, as its my favorite color.. I remember when I was a full-time mechanic, the first REAL toolbox I bought was electric orange! Ppl tht I was crazy, but the Snap-On guy gave me a deal on it cause no one else wanted it and he couldn't get rid of it! Lol.. Still have it to this day!

By the way, is that at Mike Riehl's CDJ on 10 and Gratiot? I almost bought a CLEEEEEAN 2010 SRT off their used lot abt a year ago.

Thanks! i do of course know that color which I personally like. But i understood from one of the earlier posts that saddle would be replaced by a similar but new color. Did I get this wrong? I think even Milous mentioned something like this. :

I think I even asked the question regatding the vehicle information a while ago but i read on wk 2 (that is where i copies 7 inch from) that it would be optional that is why i asked again.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Haven't seen the replacement interior (color) yet, if indeed that is true. Marlon may have.. And I'll try to remember to take me measuring tape to work tomorrow. I'll get on those SRT tips, and this screen size.

I did, Saddle is being replaced by a new brown color. Summit choice will be the new brown, or black; non-Summit Overlands will offer the new brown w/frost beige, or black.

Yeah, it's more a matter of the iPhone not supporting the Bluetooth profile.

Just think of it like NFC, 4G, or pull down notifications; the iPhone should have it about a year after it's a common feature on low end Android phones.

The center stack radio/nav unit is 8.4". The 7" screen will be between the tach and speedo where the current evic unit resides.

It'll most likely be like the Touareg's setup. sorry for the big pic.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

The Chrysler 300 luxury when it was revealed came with a brown and beige interior. I wonder if that is the new brown/beige for non summit Overland models that Milous speaks about. If anyone has seen the "new saddle" please can you say if it has gotten a little browner and less orange? Its a beautiful interior but the leather should be deeper IMO. I wonder if they will ever offer the wood grain on it when it was first revealed? It was a very exotic wood.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Ok now that its getting closer to reveal time lol, Marlon, Milous and Chevyboy, aside from the tech makeover in the 2014's are the interiors going to be a little more exciting than what us 2011,2012'ers and 2013'ers have (seat color choices, door trims, two tones). I guess the best way to describe it is the dramatic interior upgrade like they did from the 2005-2007 model to the 2008-2010 interior model refresh? I still love the two tone interior they used in the 2008-2010's (dark slate gray with light graystone interior)? Any hints? lol
