Big thing is that sounds like HVAC and Media/nav are being combined in a single scream - big improvement.
Future models can be announced any time in advance, but production has to start after January 1st. The HVAC system will most likely be similar to that of the 300/Charger in that there are mechanical controls in addition to the on-screen touch controls, a great idea vs on-screen only.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Milous,
Any word on whether some of the '13 Overland Summit features - power folding mirrors, power headlamp washers, etc. - will migrate down to the "base" Overland, or be available as standalone options on a base Overland, in '13, '14, or beyond?
Thanks.

For the 2013 models they will be exclusive to the Summit. For 2014 model year it's possible that the front park sensors and washers will be made available on the standard Overland, and maybe on the Limited and SRT. I should have better confirmation later this summer as features get finalized.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

These features are already standard on the Euorpean Overlands, maybe this will be aligned.

Generally I would prefer it if they would drop the Summit option and simple make all options available to all Overlands. I like the leather but I do not need the chrome grill etc.

While I LOVE the changes- I would like to see quad buckets as an option.

Any word on how much the diesel engine option will be? Similar to Hemi? More?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

So my 2012 s4 is done June 2013. That being said I see orders can be made dec 2012. When will SRT 8 be coming off the line and actually be in our hands? At 80k we are at 1k per month with 10k down ( in my head math). Anyone lease an SRT ? Love a mid 800 per month payment. Possible?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

. Overall, there will a lot of worthwhile changes and improvements on the 2014 models, As my 99ML320 is approaching 230k miles, I'm in line for a 2014 GC. I know I'm in the minority here, but wishing for the QL to be on the option list of the 2014 Overland 4x4. But I can always "settle" for a loaded up Limited!

We are planning on getting either a 2014 or 2015 Overland (Summit ?) 4x4 with the CRD and QuadraLift. So add one to the minority...

Wait, did I miss something?

Is there a change to the availability of the Quadra-Lift system in MY2014?!?
