I presume it'll grow on you guys/gals as it has me, but this is like an overhyped blind date with someone who turns out to be not so hot.. lol

Hahahaha I like your analogy, yea definitely not so hot.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Hmmmmm... I don't know what to say. I don't HATE it, but I don't love it either. The headlights look like an improvement, not so much with the grille. And the back now resembles a Toyota Sienna. Hopefully the interior improvements will be enough to make me forget the hit-and-miss exterior update, because at least I don't have to look at the outside when I'm driving! In any case, I guess I'll be holding on to my '12 Overland Hemi for a while longer, even though I'm dying for the CRD...

No matter what they would of done with the Refresh, not everyone will be happy. We haven't even gotten official photos of the final product and people are already giving up on it.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I decided to read everyone's comments before looking at the pics.

I'll tell ya, I don't hate the front end. I actually kind of like it, and I think it will improve once the tape is removed from the headlights. It'll look less squinty.

Not a fan of the back though. Honestly, the Summit rear that we saw a while back looks WAY better, so I'm definitely leaning in that direction unless the markup on the CRD is absurd.

I hope that enough people say they won't buy one, to force Jeep into having huge incentives at kick-off. I'll be smiling like the front of the Jeep.

^^^^ Boy, don't we wish that would be the case. At first I wasn't liking it but after looking at it some more I do like it. Once the tape is removed and we can get a straight on shot of the front end, I think more people will be happy. As there have been quite a few of the non-SRT models out in pilot, I'm surprised that we haven't seen more photos. But I will wait until final picks to make a complete decision. So far, I'm still in for the MY14

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I have no doubt that I will like the look of the 2014 SRT8. Im sure it will be everything I expected especially with the special edition models going strong on the 2013 models. Lets just wait and see the final product, Im VERY excited for the new interior and 8 speed. I dumped my 13 after having it for a year as soon as I got word of the new nav and 8 speed. Ill be at the Detroit unveil and cant friggen wait!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

SO this was posted a few pages back more like 70 but hay whose counting! Marlon JB2 said that this is a pic of a 2014. Hopefully it is pictured as the Overland Summit Model since there will be more differentiation between the models or even the SRT8 front clip that can be put on an Overland Summit. All I know is that IF it is mainly the finished product I will get it with some adjustments but I'm hoping the picture is the finished product for the summit!!!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I'm not digging the new lights... they don't belong on a Grand.

The tails look too "dodgey" as well.

Looks like they saved me about $20k by jacking up the good looks of the JGC. I'm off to hunt down the best lifetime warranty for my 2011 right now!
