If I had to guess, I'd say yes.. As the Overland/Summit wheels were the most popular wheel set for the WK2. Especially with the recent addition of black chrome. So I'd assume you'll see something similar, with another black chrome finish as an option.

Wheels DO tend to change last minute. Doesn't take anything to slap a new set on last minute. As Scott said when I referenced the horrendous set of RAM looking wheels I seen on that '14 SRT.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Just in case anyone isn't following the other thread about "Autoblog"...

How's this for a possible "cleaned-up" render of what is going on behind that black tape on the headlights?

Keep in mind the "black" under the headlights near the grill appears to be a plastic-insert (space-filler)...not tape.

Did I get close with it?! Hope you like it!

I think it looks good. Of course it looked better in the other thread.

Wow...as aggressive as the Viper. I'm currently STILL drooling over the new Viper. When do you think we'll see spy pics of it?

That's actually very close if not spot on. Looks like what's been installed so far. But those pics actually do show tape. It's been installed to hide the LED strip which runs just above that plastic piece, and goes around a section of the HL housing.

No bs.. It looks like its pissed off.

Prolly in the next couple weeks. If they're out driving em with no camo, then I imagine the next spy shots will be Overlands and Summits, then SRTs. I'd be surprised if there aren't pics up by New Years.

The new 3.2L will debut in the all-new Liberty/Cherokee which will be launching next year. Not aware of any plans to put it in the WK2, although it could end up there at some point in the future.

Ok, dumb question. Why would jeep go through so much trouble to keep the details secret, cover the car with "camo", etc., but then start driving them in the open where auto bloggers can get pics? Seems awfully convenient. If I were a car company this is exactly what I'd do - float some false intell so when the new model comes out it really is a surprise.

2014 Overlands and 2014 Summits will have smooth body paint matched fender flares / wheel arches.

I would think Jeep wanted these pictures to be taken and get out, and I think it IS what the 2014 Laredo and Limited look like. Two people that work for Jeep at Jefferson North confirmed it in this thread.

And I was looking forward to a red Overland with black wheel well moldings. Oh well.
